I have met a couple of dozen over the last few years and most have been a long lag of communication. Usually, it's just some luck that you message them just before they get online and your message is close to the top of the email box. I will sit down every couple of weeks and go thru messages I have sent previously and send a new message. Usually a quick cut and paste and I will add a little something specific to their profile. On average out of about 100 emails, I'll get 7-9 responses a week. Of those 7-9, 3-4 will end up meeting. Of those, I'll get 2 to have fun. Usually 1 of those two will make the list to see again. I have also found that usernames with the format of NameName_(3 or 4 digit number) are likely fake too. Take a look at the usernames on here. Who uses 3 or 4 digits in their username (unless its an area code or birth year)? If they have a picture wearing a local college or university shirt, probably real. Use context clues!

I send 10 messages out, I'll have a few (as many as 5+ replies) and a meet or 2. SB? It takes 10's of messages to get a single response.
