Speaking of which. Are there any Asian 'Hostess Clubs' in Chicago? Los Angeles has at least two of them. Interesting set-up. A girl will basically 'date' a customer in the booth. It was a Korean operation and non-Asians were only allowed in if coming in with an Asian I believe.

It is now gone. The owner thought she could transfer her liquor license to another address nearby. Not in Chicago!

We ended up going to another bar instead.

I think it was on this site or yelp or whatever site 3-4 years ago it was reviewed. The review said it was a neighborhood bar with good food but the locals aren't very welcoming. The review was dead on. Great concept but it certainly wasn't Cheers. Keep in mind I was only there once and my first impression could be wrong but it wasn't worth giving it a second chance. The burger was good.

Regarding Thai Palace, I've tried to research the forum, and have read reviews on the oThER site as well, and I am still uncertain what the real difference between the two rates is.
