I usually go late so the girls are usually intoxicated and I'm. Not buying watered down drinks. Sometimes I enjoy just the company talking. At the MP. Most try to get out of there. All depends on how you feeling.

I normally like to just go for the atmosphere. I have yet to go to a Korean place where action was made though.

There are a handful of new girls in Kalihi from Korea. The problem is that being how scarce new girls in Hawaii are, there are a lot of lvb's coming around as soon as they get wind of new talent. The result is 6-7 plus guys going to see 1-2 girls. The cost has also risen to where everyone expects $40 drinks, not to mention the drinks being fake Heineken light. Next time you sit at the bar you will see the barbacks filling empty Heineken light bottles with non alcoholic or low alc. Beer. Maybe I'm just frustrated with the kb scene, but does anyone feel the same as I do? Not to mention I see the same guys every single time. I don't blame you guys but jeez, I don't want to run into everyone all the time. That's another thing, I think there are not enough customers going to these bars anymore, that's why its the same group of guys you always notice. If the bars had more customers I think it would be better where the mamas would bring even more girls in from overseas or wherever. Back to the $40 drinks, anything else, if the price doubles, you get better service, or larger amount, or more for your money. Not in this situation, they expect double the price of girl's drinks but not double the service or a better experience to warrant the increase. What do you guys think? I am curious to hear the opinions of others as to the future of the kb.

I've been frequenting these establishments for close to 40 years now. Because of the pandemic and bad economy, the focus is now shifted to the customers that spend money. Have you noticed that there is no such thing as house pupus anymore? No more tofu and watercress. They will only bring food to you if they know you will buy a few drinks and leave them a tip. There are only a few good girls that will serve you food regardless if you spend money or not. You don't see too many "house customers" anymore. These were the ones that kept the daytime business going. Now you see the young talent coming in at 8 or 9 pm. Only the guys who don't care if the girls drink $40 non alcoholic drinks. We all know the trick of what the bar backs are doing pouring the non alcoholic drinks into the Heineken bottles. If you don't know it, you probably believe that you have chance with these girls. These girls rotate their lvbs so they can maintain their high lifestyle. I can go on and on, but I would like others to share some of their experiences. Btw, imo the better and nicer girls work the early shift and let the lvbs fight over the young princess.
Anyone know the name of the haole girl in Honu?

If you want semi-free pupus, you can get it if you go to the bars earlier in the day. They don't have many customers except for the older folks so are willing to try and entice customers by offering free pupus. In the evenings, the prettier girls come in so if you want food, you need to pay for it. Also, the girls in the evening are very pushy for $40 drinks since they know they can get it from most of the customers. All in all. We are suckers that the girls prey and rely on. Personally, I don't mind buying drinks. As long as a whole bunch of them don't attack you at the same time. These days, I cannot go to any bar without recognizing many of the girls working there which is a problem. I know most of you have the same issues.
