Here's an interesting and detailed report from a monger who would rather not be identified, but gave me permission to post his experience. It shows how exploring outside the standard downtown hunting ground can sometimes pay off.

After midnight, he happened to stop at the 7-Eleven near the makai side of North Nimitz Highway in the Kalihi Kai area. As he was driving away, he observed a slender woman walking toward that 7-Eleven from the Ewa direction. She was about five feet, four or five inches in height, and dressed in a tank top and jean shorts. He made eye contact and waved, she returned the wave, and she looked friendly. He says that she was haole, had an "Olive Oyl" type of physique, A-size breasts, and long legs. He estimates that she's late twenties to early thirties in age, but could be older.

Later, he saw the same woman again, at the stoplight by the same 7-Eleven. As he drove by her, they again exchanged waves. He drove around the block, slowed down when he reached her, and asked if she needed a ride. Without much hesitation, she entered his vehicle. She said her name was Deena or Dina, but that may have been a pseudonym.

She requested a ride to where she said she lived in that area, but on the way, she asked if they could just drive around the area. From observing and talking with her, he believed that she was high on pakalolo and tipsy from drinking. He continued to drive, and noticed her looking in his direction as she talked. Eventually she put her hand on his thigh and asked if he would like a HJ for $20. He was surprised, but gave her the cash. She unzipped his shorts and commenced the HJ.

She's there all the time. She's not deaf, but I think she mostly doesn't acknowledge strangers talking to her. I know it was mentioned before, but this needs to be repeated. Dudes, make sure to check you vehicle after your date.
