But the reason they may do this is so you still have to prove your innocence by paying your bond and hiring an attorney- which is very inconvenient (costly) and the charge (though thrown out) will still appear on your record- which can also look bad (though charges were thrown out). But as far as convicting you for soliciting for prostitution, they cannot (absolutely cannot) convict you for this.

The law is clear regarding the definition of prostitution: exchanging s-xual favors for money or monetary value. As long as I never agree to such a thing, by law, they cannot convict me and a good or even decent attorney would get that thrown out. Like I said, I wouldn't be saying all this if I hadn't had the privilege of having several interactions with LEO for this. They could have taken me in any time and any day but even LEO had enough sense to leave me alone because they knew they didn't have nada! I am sure they weren't afraid of me- no way. But why do all the paperwork and know that it won't stick? Guess if one acts like a prick, they might take you through the ringer but I was always respectful and just never agreed to s-x for money. And if a girl ask you to bring a raincoat- decline!

One time I (make a long story short) went to visit a lady at motel 6 and her supposed boyfriend came outside the room and told me to give him the money of which I declined. He then tells me to go inside the room and talk to the lady. Very beautiful blond sitting on bed. She begin to ask all these s-xually explicit questions and I said to myself, whatever I can do (legally) in a strip club, I can say and do here. So I told her we were not going to have s-x or nothing s-xually and when it was all said and done, she told me I had done good. I looked at her strangely when she said this. She and so-called boyfriend looked at me, showed me their badges telling me they were vice. Great escape! So I know what I am talking about; its been proven time and time again.

One last thing and something I mentioned before; they might still be a prick and take you through the entire arrest process but the key is not to hand them your azz on a platter. Don't give them the weapon they need to hurt you and yes, be quiet even if your silence seemed to convey guilt. The Miranda didn't say your silence shall be used against you BUT it does say your words shall be used against you in court! Who cares if me being quiet makes me look like I'm hiding something. I am not giving them my azz on a platter and guess what, a lawyer can do more with that than they can if you sat up there and ran your mouth. Any lawyer worth their salt will tell you to be silent. The method I proposed (hear me good) will most likely (90%) not get you arrested But definitely will not get you convicted. It is the conviction you are mainly concerned about. There is nothing LEO can add to the law concerning what prostitution is. Wads of cash, being with a known prostitute, etc is not enough; why- she may be a known working girl but I could have simply come to get a body rub which is legal. They cannot read my mind (at least they never read mine) and say he was thinking about it. That ain't going to fly. They can't say you look like you wanted to go pass the speed limit because you had that look in your eye. But as long as I stay below the designated limit, there is nothing they can do to me. As long as you get a decent attorney, you should be fine.

I know I said last thing but let me quickly speak to the lawyering up issue. I had a family member who LEO wanted to talk to about an alleged crime; I talked to a brother-in-law who is an attorney and another attorney who I was going to retain about the issue. They said to me, never talk to LEO without an attorney present. I called LEO back and told him I won't be speaking to them without a lawyer. Shall I tell you how fast that case went away? Lawyer up gents- providing it gets that far![/QUOTE]I would like to sum all of this up. Don't TALK TO LEO. PERIOD. Enough said. An attorney will get you off of bullshit if you have no record.

You know, if you are going to go into any biz, if you are going to invest in any biz- learn something about it. If you wanted to go into being a real estate broker, car dealership owner, mechanic shop owner, to name a few- learn something about it; otherwise, you won't be in biz for very long.

Why these examples? I have spoken with many novice providers who are under the tutelage or mentor-ship of a dumb bunny veteran provider and the things they either omit telling them or tell them about how to stay out of trouble in this biz is just plain ignorant. The so-called vets tell them: if you touch the customer- he's not a leo; if he touches you-he's not a leo; if he shows you his private parts-he's not a leo; if he gets butt naked-he's not a leo; and the biggest one is- if you ask him if he's leo and he says no then- he's not a leo! All I can say is ignorant!

In order for LEO to make you feel safe, he must do something to make you comfortable; he may even allow you to give him a BJ 1st then once you feel safe, he'll have the conversation with you about $ and s-x and once you commit to this- you're gone! So getting you to feel safe before you have the conversation is one tactic. You might say they can't allow you to give them a BJ; well technically you are right but by the time they arrest and book you; you bond out and hire an attorney and by the time your trial comes up, LEO would have had 100 showers to wash away your DNA. Then once in trial, he can lie to the court that you never put your mouth on his private parts. They lie all the time and its legal. Do you think an undercover working to bust a drug gang is going to tell them who he really is? No!

So my main point is that people have many opinions about what to do and what not to do in order to stay out of trouble BUT I urge you to proceed with caution. Some of us have a lot to lose and we don't want our pix to end up in SSS publication and therefore we have educated ourselves in order to avoid any legal issues. If you don't want to have an arrest as a constant reminder of what you use to do (this escort hobby) , my advice is to get a sound education about these things so when you walk away from it, you're fine. People who continue to sleep with providers without raincoats will probably have HIV as a reminder of what they use to do. Is it worth it!

And so it is, there are varying opinions out there but hopefully you'll use sound judgement in knowing what is legitimate and what isn't. I also hope people don't misread me or misinterpret me. I am not on here to be a big shot or to try to know it all or have people look up to me. I just like to help people stay safe and avoid the embarrassment and inconvenience of getting jammed up.

Hey guys, I know we have all traveled down a road wondering what we will find along the way. But this life is so much like the old saying "the dog chasing the tail". We are all chasing the tail if you know what I mean. But our life becomes like there's a wonder if we are going to get caught by LEO. But some they worry about loosing there careers and there family. The only thing most of the ladies worry about is will I ever get another hit or a needle in the arm and how will I ever get my life back. The guy giving them the goods worries about will he not get our money and does not want to go to jail. What a very sad world. We really want to find a lady that has all her eggs in one basket, if she is making a living than that's a great and that would be a lady to spend time with. But there are so many sad stories out here of the "dark horse" leading them around, a rock that melts with heat. Even the system of LEO reaps a benefit from us. All I can say is look where the oldest profession has really advanced from the cowboy days "LOL". So folks I am signing off here for now I may be back and then again I may not. I actually enjoyed the legal info that was furnished and there are probably several newbies that need to know that info. You two have been around long enough to know all the info furnished but not everybody has. Please be patient and I do not intend to offend either of you. Keep up your good and informative posts.

You know, just because you go to a doctor, lawyer, financial planner, etc, does not really mean you will get the best informed advice. The advice you get is only as good as the one giving it. As the gentleman so eloquently indicated, there are a lot of young guys here or people who are new to the so-called hobby that don't know these things and happen to appreciate someone who is really looking out for them instead of someone who just wants to come on here and tell jokes and piggy back off of someone else's posts. Some people who got into a jam (legally) wish they had someone who took the time to provide this info. Many times I see stuff on here that is just a waste of space but when someone is willing to provide you with info that can positively impact ones future, you'd think one would show some respect and appreciation. This is a very serious activity we've chosen to partake in and it can destroy your future in more ways than one. But then again I will repeat myself: The moderator has so fabulously created a functionality on this forum wherein one can chose to ignore any reviewer and my no legal advise to this end is: "use it!"
