I was browsing the escort ads on backpage and found more than half are suspect ads or scams. In checking several review sites, guys are getting ripped off often enough to make it worth their doing. Most will send you an email wanting you to verify your identity or supposedly proving your age or that you're safe to see by entering your credit card to some verification site. These are frauds 99% of the time. Overwhelmingly the new ads are outcall only. Few responsible providers will go to private residences. If a provider will do outcalls to a private residence, they will be widely reviewed of doing so. Since CL censored their site, many of the scams have moved to backbage. If they didn't get some guys to bite, they wouldn't be posting the ads. If you don't give them a return on their investment they'll go away. Please be smart.

Like many of you, I'm HATING the addition of the Clist scam ads now on BP. The last few days of trying to go through them has actually given me migraines. Ugh. Anyway... here's a suggestion for everyone. On ads that you KNOW are scams, like those 'no charge massage' ones, or the ones that use 4 tineye pics, offer outcall only, and have a bogus #, flag/report them! If enough people report the suckers, they'll be removed. If it's done fast enough to where the scammers see loss in scam intakes, they'll hopefully move on. I've been flagging for 2 days now, and I've seen some small results on a few. That makes me think that some others out there are doing the same, since my few flags shouldn't be enough on their own. It'll take a lot more people, and some due diligence to make a dent though. Anyone wanna take up the banner?
Anyway, just a suggestion.. and now as for me, I'm off to go ice my noggin.

Anyway, don't bother. On this one it's easier to count Tin Eye's returns by counting the pages rather than counting the pics.

Lookee here. Just a rare occasion where I might have something that might help someone avoid wasting their time and dough, unless they are cool with this type of provider. This forum has certainly helped me steer clear of potential mistakes. Sidney Merlot's advice about using TinEye.com is very good, but Tin Eye comes up blank more often than it comes up with the same pic found elsewhere simply because there are so many pics on the internet in relation to Tin Eye's inventory. Still it should be used on every pic.
Our best resource is still a google of the girl's email addy and phone that can lead us to other ads and profiles with maybe different pics, maybe different email addys and different phones. We must google these new finds also, the idea being to identify everything out there on her. We might even land on a review site containing her reviews. This is so important that we should not consider any ad or pic without an associated email or phone because we won't have anything to google.
Google remains the main tool supplemented by Tin Eye when it has something for us.
