I used to drop into the EB every 6-12 months with a buddy of mine. We would typically spend a few hours, drop anywhere from 100-300 each and then grab a bite -- a bit of good fun overall!
I had not been for over a year this time and was surprised at being asked to pay $20 on top of the dance fees for the LD room. However, when I asked the girl if it was just on the first entry, she said that it was. Imagine my surprise when I was asked by my 2nd LD partner. She seemed to agree when I said I had already paid. The 3rd LD partner got all upset and demanded that I pay. Fortunately I was already tapped out, but mostly I had trouble understanding what kind of idiot would make that kind of policy. The reason I like strip clubs once in a while is to sample a number of different women. So now I get financially penalized for doing so? Not sure I understand to logic, especially as I will not go back as long as that policy is in place.

What I do know is that all the BS at Blue started because the owner lost a lot of money on the Willimantic club. He staryed freaking out over finances and started trying to get more money out of Blue by implementing the higher fees, etc. I wasn't aware thay he had sold the Willimantic club or that he was trying to restart it though.

I, too, used to go to EB and drop a couple hundred between LDs, stage tips, and drinks for myself and occasionally a dancer. It's a slap in the face that they tax you on the way in with a cover charge, and then again every time you want to take a girl into the LD area. I would think they would do better to charge the girls a portion of the first dance each time she went in with a new customer, and then if she kept the guy in there with her "feminine wiles" she would keep the rest.

No real talent, dances WAY overpriced, and a door charge to boot? The whole place is basically one big wallet rape. No value there.
EB used to be a pretty good thing, but they're getting greedy as well. EB has better talent but they, too, have a door charge, dances are $20, and now there's a $20 (I believe) house upcharge on dances. I visited there a month or so ago on a weeknight. Went in and sat at the bar and immediately the vultures began circling. Barely got a sip of my beer in before they all wanted money.
One HUGE black or dark Brazilian thing came over and tried to chat me up, sat down and said "Can I get a drink?" I said, "I'm sure they'll get you whatever you order. " She orders, drink is delivered and bartender is looking for payment, and the fat Brazilian looks to me. "I never said I was buying you a drink. " She looked disgusted, paid the bill and walked off in a huff. Good riddance.
The only upside the the visit was a spunky little thin brunette who was around. I can't remember her name, but she was fun to spar with, and delivered a good dance at the stage. I didn't go into the back room, because the house tax pisses me off. She'd be fun for takeout, but I wouldn't be surprised if she's overpriced. May need to go back and see if I can find her again.

Ok so I'm reading through some of these posts. Its been years since I've gone to a strip club. So can someone enlighten me or correct me if I'm wrong. You go in the lap dance area at EB and they charge you $20 per song and they charge you a $20 entrance fee to actually step foot into the Lap Dance area? So to get 1 lp dance it costs you $40? And the fee is $20 each time you go back there? Is this for real or am I misunderstanding? If true, how do you guys afford this? This seems like a rip off or maybe I'm an outdated old fart?

I'm an outdated old fart as well but do know there are much better deals around so refuse to pay a premium for a what if. It may take a little driving but it is worth it. Think Bridgeport, Providence and Worcester. Springfield may be worth it as well but haven't been there in ages.

But they way I understand it is that LDs are $20 each, and there is a house fee of $20 each time you go in to the LD area. So, go in with girl #1 and the first LD costs $40 (dance + house tax), and subsequent consecutive dances/songs are $20. If you want to sample different girls (as is the whole point of a strip club, right?) The first dance with girl #2 is $40, and subsequent consecutive dances are $20. And so on.
Prober is also correct that there is a door fee as well, plus drinks are priced at strip club rates. Too much for very little value.
So yeah, EB is a shitty deal these days, especially considering that you can connect with someone on [URL]seeking.com[/URL], meet up and have a leisurely drink, a couple apps and some good conversation, and then actually have sex with her for $150 if you do your homework and find a girl who will take that arrangement. They're definitely out there.

Highest times are day shifts and F / S / S evenings. Yes, each time you go back, so worst case scenario is $40 for one dance during high time, $30 for one dance otherwise. So, on a Friday night (highest), 1 dance = 40,2 dance = 60,3 dance = 80,4 dance = 100. Now compare that to most other local clubs averaging 25 to 30 per dance. The choice is yours.

Dancers would be incentivized to provide good dances and keep the guy there for 2, 3, 4, songs or longer since they get paid extra and "in full" for subsequent consecutive songs, and customers wouldn't feel screwed over as they're spending money, and would be encouraged to sample more dances from different performers. Everybody's happy, win-win-win.
I'm sure if they implemented this, management would need to endure the idiot dancers (which is why they're working at EB in the first place) screaming about how management is taking money from their kids' mouths and "my body, my money!" and all that vapid drivel because they can't see the big picture either. But if they can get over that hump.

Used to be be fairly regular at a few times a month, usually dropping a few hundred per visit, with an occasional VIP room. So basically, in an effort to charge an extra $20 per lap dance visit, they lost out on my $$ Why not make it $20 for the 1st visit, then no extra entry charge the rest of the evening? Can't do that at EB anymore due to the price structure, so until it changes count me as one of the lost customers.
