I was in Sunset Strip about 4 months ago during the day. Nice Place but mostly black. Dancers were all black, but nice white barmaid that poured a great Jack and water. After I had a few sips she came over and topped me off with some more Jack. Downstairs is filled with TVs. Narrow place friendly (I am older white guy) and you can order lunch that they bring over from the kitchen next door. Manager was a well dressed older gal originally from Jamaica who talked with me a while.
VIP upstairs with plenty of milage, but was not offerd FS, I did not push for it either. Dancers thick as common with most black clubs. Private booths and at the end of the room you are well hidden and right next to the dimmer switch that she promptly dialed down.
Really don't know why I haven't been back. Will stop in soon.
No cover during the day, and I don't remember if I paid to go to the VIP room. Standard .2 dance , but I did not try to negotiate any deals.

If you are alone skip the booth because if it is crowded you wont get one. If you do get a booth and it gets crowded they will move you. Dress comfortable jeans or khakis are fine. The dancers only care that you are buying dances. $400 would do the trick if it is very busy like a Fri nite the dancers wont sit too long they want to maximize their time. Once you start buying dances they will notice you and start comming to you.

I went to both frequently. Its as you describe with one addition.
In Emmet they had a back building where the imported dancers dormed. These were the ones that did not have any local obligations so they were often open for take out.
I miss those days. Need to get back up there.

I'll be there around 2PM on a Friday afternoon, I guess I will play the booth by ear, if it isn't too crowded I will get one. Otherwise I'll just spend that money on a dance early on and hopefully the honnies will be flowing ;-).

Fell asleep and dreamed I stopped into Henry's south yesterday around noon. Place was pretty dead with only about 5 or 6 girls and about the same for customers. They have their liquor license back so I was I had x2 $6.75 beer. There were two black girls and three white girls, with only one of them worth a dance. Bogarts on Michigan by Middlebelt is a step above, high milage and better talent.
Flight Club across the street from Bogarts is upscale Gentlemen's Club. Best Talent and highest priced. Milage is great in Detroit compared with most places. FC is not exception.
They are all 10 minutes from the airport.
If rental car and willing to explore, look for any of the clubs with an 8 mile address. They are much further, but still less than a 30 minute drive.

The front door has an entrance arrow pointing to a black door. I tug on the door a few times and it appears locked, but theres about 10 cars there and the lights are on.

Their door guy would say "how ya doing officer" (I suppose with a short haircut I do resemble that a bit and I guess he figured that any white guy walking in there acting like he had nothing to worry about must be some kind of cop).
