Carol of Davenport, wanted to plead guilty to a single count of prostitution, but Scott County Associate Court Judge Christine Dalton told her it was too early in the process to enter a plea. She’ll spend her 42nd birthday today in the Scott County Jail unless she can raise $2,000 cash to bond herself out of jail.
33 year old Felicia, told the judge she had a week left in drug treatment and was taking parenting classes before she was arrested with others during the sting.
“The whole prostitution thing, I thought he was asking me if I wanted a ride to work,”Felicia said.
Police say in a court affidavit that Felicia offered to perform oral sex to an undercover officer for $40.
34 year old Angela of Davenport, was twitching and rocking back and forth in her seat when appearing before Judge Dalton.
She denied drug treatment, and her bond also was set at $2,000 while she awaits further hearings on charges of prostitution and possession of dangerous weapons. Police say she had a 3 inch folding knife in her bra when she was arrested.
49 year old Marlene of Rock Island, was arrested for prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say in an affidavit she offered to perform oral sex to an undercover officer for $30 and had two syringes and tin foil packet with heroine residue on it.
Also charged with prostitution, 39 year old Michelle of Davenport, was given 60 days in jail when she admitted violating her probation for a prior drug offense. She’s also charged with harassment of public officials for giving police a different name when she was arrested, police say.
“I’m taking this all the way to trial,” she said.
51 year old Pamela of Davenport, told Judge Dalton she was homeless and made her living off of prostitution. Police say she had a crack pipe on her when she was arrested in the 500 block of North Brady Street.
Also charged with prostitution were:
- 31 year old Michelle of Davenport.
- 56 year old Susan no known address.
- 42 year old Deloris of Davenport.
- 36 year old Valerie no known address.
All of the women remained in the Scott County Jail late Friday on various bonds. All also were given court-appointed attorneys who are scheduled to appear in court for their clients on Tuesday.

I had many I posted deleted and my posts no longer appear when I post them. There was a survey about such things but as far as I can tell no action has been taken one way or another from the survey results. Look on the right of the home page for the survey. The people who wanted to see mug shots outnumbered those who did not. a few do keep popping up.

Let me suggest mile marker 267 on I-80. This is the Tipton-Moscow exit.
There is a closed restaurant building which would be easily remodeled. I believe the name used to be the Cove. There are no towns within 6 miles which would help with law enforcement. Yet, the place is 30 minutes or less from the QCA, Muscatine, Iowa City, Tipton and a bunch of other towns.
I could see this being a great place for coeds to work their way through college...
