Oh come on Rosco, you can at least tell us the name of the club. From your clue we know it wasn't Miss Kitty's, and a hj at Soft Touch, C-Mowes or Dollies isn't anything new so that might leave us with Wise Guys, Hollywood or Hustler.

Speaking of Wise Guys, I've recently read that the owner has once again prevailed in his lawsuit against Washington Park. WP had passed an ordinance limiting the number of clubs able to serve liquor. This conflict between Joelner and WP started back in 2003 or earlier.

Joelner v. Village of Washington Park, Nos. 06-2901 & 06-3252 (7th Cir. Nov. 19, 2007).

OVERVIEW: The village’s newly enacted ordinance, which banned the sale or consumption of alcohol in newly licensed adult cabarets while continuing to allow the sale and consumption of alcohol in places already licensed as adult cabarets, was facially unconstitutional because the sole purpose of the ordinance was to stifle competition.

SUMMARY: The plaintiff, a business owner who unsuccessfully applied for a license to operate an adult cabaret located in the village, filed an action against the village challenging its newly enacted ordinance regulating adult entertainment venues, and the village’s denial of his application for a cabaret license. The new ordinance was purportedly intended “to establish reasonable and uniform regulations to prevent the deleterious secondary effects of sexually oriented businesses.” However, the ordinance lifted the previous numerical limit on licenses for adult entertainment venues, expanded the permissible hours of operation, and allowed for partial nudity and certain sexual activities. Most notably, though, the new ordinance banned the on-site sale or consumption of alcohol except in places already licensed as adult cabarets under the prior ordinance. The trial court declared the alcohol ban in the ordinance and the village’s denial of plaintiff’s license unconstitutional because the village produced no evidence to show that the ordinance was to combat the secondary effects of combining alcohol with adult entertainment. In addition, the trial court believed that the ordinance was designed only to prevent the plaintiff from competing in the adult entertainment market and to stifle competition with the current license holders. Therefore, the trial court ordered the village to grant the plaintiff a cabaret license and allow him to conduct business as do the other cabarets in the village. The village appealed.

On appeal, the appeals court applied the strict scrutiny standard to review the village’s ordinance to determine its constitutionality because the appeals court determined that the ordinance was not aimed at curbing the negative secondary effects of adult cabarets. The ordinance was obviously designed to prevent the plaintiff from competing in the local adult entertainment market because, without contradiction, the ordinance affected only the plaintiff as the sole applicant for a license under the new ordinance. Because of the ordinance’s anti-competitive purpose, the appeals court ruled that it was facially unconstitutional because the ban on alcohol sales or consumption in newly licensed establishments was not necessary to serve a compelling governmental interest and narrowly drawn to reach that end. Therefore, the appeals court affirmed the decision of the trial court.

Interesting that I never saw mention of this ruling in the News Democrat, at least the online edition. I'm starting to think the area needs a new daily newspaper. If I had a few million to blow, starting a daily newspaper covering this area would might be interesting.

Jannisary, I wish I could say the name of the club, but I already let slip in my last post that the lady got totally nude for me. You've said in the past that totally nude lap dances are forbidden in East St. Louis, so I can't say the club's name now.

Ironic that totally nude lappers aren't allowed there because they are allowed in Columbia, Missouri strip clubs. But, of course, you aren't going to get any extras inside our 2 Columbia clubs.

I was surprised the lady got completely nude for me. I didn't ask her to do so. Can't blame you for being careful for the dancer's sake Rosco. Actually while looking into the lawsuit I mention in my previous post, I found out that in WP its illegal for the dancers to get totally nude. The WP clubs are supposed to be topless only according the latest version of their adult entertainment ordinance. The court took the fact that this part of the ordinance wasn't enforced into consideration when it ruled in Joelner's favor. Basically the court believed Joulner's argument that the non-enforcement of the topless only rule showed the main concern of the village ordinance was to stifle competition and not regulate adult entertainment.

I've only gotten a partial lap dance by a totally nude dancer anywhere in the metro-east. That was at the Hollywood and she was new - her first night at the club. She told me at her old club - don't remember her former city- the dances were totally nude. Anyway, I told her she might want to put her bottoms back on and just about the time she climbed off me and picked up her g-string the manager sticks his head into the room. Her back was too him and we were talking about the rules in the club, he just stood there in the doorway for a second - staring at her ass - and then moved on.

At all the clubs, some of the girls will move their g-strings aside and give you an up close look or more. I've watched some girls insert multiple fingers, one even fingered her own butt, a few guided my fingers and let me play for just a bit. Miss Kitty's: Second time there. First time was spent fending off the very large women and drinking a few beers. This time I was never approched by anyone who weighed less than twice what I do. Drank up and left.

Dolly's: Walked into the club, got beered, seated and a shaved kitty shoved in my face for inspection before I was able to see who was playing on the big TV in the corner. The dancer was requesting a tip for her time on-stage. I was approched a few times with no big interest. Torri stopped by and asked if she could do a table dance for me for a couple of bucks. Sure! We moved to the semi-private area. She offered anything, I just needed to name it and come up with her terms. I have learned that FS, even though it has been offered and attempted at Dollys, isn't going to work for me there. Worked on the BJ that's really a HJ with light spitwork. Offered for 80, done for 60.

Drove by C-Mowes early, 2 cars there. Not a good sign. Later had 6 parked in front. Didn't stop.

Wise Guys

As soon as I get a day to myself again I plan on checking out Wise Guys more thoroughly. I will report back as soon as I do. At least two ladies really got my attention and based on another ladies comments I believe extra/take out can be had. Of course YMMV but once I get a verfiable report I will post it.

Tracfone! Or one of the other pre-paid cellphones are the way to go. If you start giving out your phone number it does help in all avenues of mongering or even just strip clubbing but you also get some strange unexpected calls. If I don't recognize the number I just let it go to voicemail. After sharing my number with one sw gal, I've been getting strange text messages and not from the number she had given me. The general rule is to never give out your regular cell number, always use a disposable pre-paid phone and minute cards that you've paid for in cash. If you really want to be safe or paranoid depending on viewpoint, don't use your own or any landline connected to you to activate the prepaid phone.

But...I've shared my regular cell number with a few dancers before. Of course I'm single and unattached and it was after being pretty sure of the gal. For me their calls are a pleasant surprise.

Yeah, great stuff. According to the .pdf file supplied by Local Hick, the old Washington Park ordinance from 2005 was overturned last month by the Circuit Court of Appeals as being unconstitutional because it selectively denied an alcohol license to Mr. Joelner in order to prevent Joelner, the "new guy," from competing with existing strip club owners. The existing owners were receiving special, favorable treatment. Why should they be allowed to serve alcohol, but not Joelner. The judges also noted that one of the existing owners is the son of Washington Park's former police chief.

So does anybody know: is Joelner opening any clubs soon in Washington Park?

Rosco, the Wise Guys Club is at the location of Joelner's adult bookstore. Don't know if he actually owns the club or is just leasing the building to the someone else. Supposedly the Wise Guys owners are planning on opening two more clubs, one on the other side of Kingshighway and another on Bunkum Road. The lawsuit shows that Joelner wanted licenses for three locations - his adult bookstore location, a second location on Kingshighway, and a third location on Bunkum Road.

When I wrote that bottomless private dances might be considered prostitution I was going on information supplied to me by several dancers in Brooklyn and Washington Park back when I started spending time in the clubs which was several years ago now..3?..4?...lol. Multiple dancers in multiple clubs with the same story, but things do change.

Of course clubs have been known to be a little misleading in their advertising also. As of October 2007, a dancer I know who worked at Hustler reported that only topless dances were allowed. Maybe the totally nude private dances aren't really "lap dances"? If i see her or see her online, I'll ask. Perhaps on your next trip over Rosco you can do some in club recon for us about this matter.

The Hustler rep. did say the ladies do get a cut of the $250.

I guess I have a different opinion of services available and bang for the buck in this area.

This is pretty common place at the Colony Theater in WashPark and the Olde Un in Columbia Mo. At least at the Colony you get women in there that will either do a BBBJ or fuck you. The Olde Un women playing in the theater are far and few between.

I would hope that the lady gets at least $150 of that. $2.5 for a half hour is outrageous if nothing is guaranteed.

It was my understanding that the girls got half of the charged rate for the room. I paid 2 they got 1. You can get bbbj for just the price of the room, but most of the time they will hit you up for more. I would keep my one's and five's in one pocket and the rest of my money in the other. I would then hand them the wad of one's and five's (about 15 to 25 bucks) and say "this is all I have left, but I will give you my last dollar, because you are worth it". Before you go to the back, some of the girls will make you think that you are going to get FS, but when you are in the back and you are ready to do it she will come up with a reason, why you can't do it. No condom is the most common reason. If you want CFS make sure you bring a condom and that you set the prce before you go to the VIP room. They will want $$ to $$$$$ extra, but you can get it for $ to $.5 extra. I'll be in town for biz next week. So from what I've read, Blondies is the place to be if I prefer white/caucasion girls right? Are there other clubs that have these type of girls and if so can anyone recommend their favorite place to be, pros & cons etc... Tried Blondies out on the way home the other night and it is the Chameleon East ordered a drink and one of the gals just asked if I wanted to go in the back and FUCK. Pretty straight forward 35 or house 65 for her told her only had a franklin with me. Not bad half and half. Wiseguys was a bust for extras no place there private enough but got a couple of numbers for later will let you know how it works out.

Darn, another poor guy got shot to death in one of our favorite street walker and strip club havens, Washington Park, Illinois.

Even worse, his body was found on Lincoln Avenue. I drove down Lincoln Avenue when I was in town 2 weeks ago. That's the route I took to get from the SW happy hunting grounds in East St. Louis to the strip clubs in Washington Park. Maybe I'll stick to Highway 64 and Route 111 next time.

Washington Park body identified as 24-year-old Belleville man

WASHINGTON PARK --

Police have identified a body found Sunday in the 4800 block of Lincoln Avenue as that of a 24-year-old Belleville man.

John Henry Scott Odell, 24, a white male, had been shot several times in the head and neck. Odell's body was located in a ditch across the street from an abandoned vehicle that was parked on Lincoln Avenue, Illinois State Police Sgt. Dave Wasmuth said.

The vehicle that the victim's body was found near is a 1995 champagne-colored Mercury. It had Missouri temporary license plates on it.

Wasmuth said Sunday police did not have any suspects identified or a motive for the shooting.

The area where the body was found is remote and has been known as a high-crime area, Wasmuth said. He said police did not know how long the body had been in the ditch.

The body was discovered by neighborhood children who were walking down the street, Wasmuth said.

He did not say whether police recovered a weapon.

Police asked that anyone with information call Illinois State Police Special Agent Kelly Cullen at 346-3768.

"Police found the body of a black man in the street behind Blackmon's [night club] in the 100 block of Collinsville Avenue shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday. The body was found about 150 feet from the parking lot of the police department. [This is the police station between 3rd Street and Collinsville Avenue, near Broadway. It's very close to that Phillips 66 gas station and convenience store called Riverpark 66.]

The victim, who appeared to be in his early 30s, was shot several times. Baxton said police believe the victim had been a patron at Blackmon's Plaza, a nightclub, before the shooting.

East St. Louis Police Chief Michael Baxton said police have not identified any suspects and have no motive for the killing. He said police learned about the homicide at 4:18 a.m.

The man, from Granite City, was the city's 31st homicide victim of the year."

thanks for the heads up on that one. I don't go to the Colony all that much but when I do I stay on the main streets and try not to stop til I get there. The one good thing about Ed at the Colony is that he doesn't put up with any shit that goes on there or in his parking lot.

By the way, that fatal shooting on Sunday near the police station is less than a block away from that Phillips 66 gas station and convenience store called Riverpark 66.

I'm sure many of us have gotten gasoline at that station on Broadway/Riverpark, which is close to the Eads Bridge and Casino Queen.

Two weeks ago when I was in town, I saw Jada (formerly of Chameleon's) at City Nights around 5:15 PM Thursday. A month before that, I saw her at Miss Kitty's during the day shift.

Also saw Chastity (another former Chameleon lady) at Blondies during the second shift. Rachel's mom was at Blondie's, too. She said Rachel isn't currently dancing anywhere.

As I was leaving Blondies around 4:45 PM, I happened to see that Tory popped on over to Blondie's after her shift ended at Dollie's. She went into Blondie's to apply. Her more conservative-looking female friend drove her to Blondie's from Dollies across the street and was waiting for Tory outside in a mini-van. The friend probably was not a dancer, but I wonder if I could have talked the two ladies into a threesome? Her friend was being casually friendly, though not flirty, while I spoke to her outside as she waited for Tory to come back out.

I'm glad I didn't try for a threesome, though, because at midnight I met Ashleigh.

Man plotted to carve up mistress

St. Louis — A man accused of trying to recruit a killer to cut up his mistress,
and to deliver her severed hand, admitted the crime Thursday in federal court
at St. Louis. The woman was unharmed.

Christopher A. Hemminghaus, 36, of High Ridge, pleaded guilty of destruction of
evidence and use of a telephone with the intent that murder be committed.
Prosecutors agreed to recommend a 15-year prison term at sentencing in April,
in exchange for the plea.

He acknowledged that he tried to enlist a part-time employee of his Washington
Park Pawn Shop, in Metro East, in December 2006. He became more insistent in
January, offering $600 and a reciprocating saw to cut up the body, officials
said.

What Hemminghaus asked in return was her purse, keys, cell phone, jewelry — and
her hand as proof that the job was done.

Hemminghaus, who used the nickname "Dr. Loan," was angry because the mistress
had called his wife from her job at a Washington Park strip club called
"Dollie's," according to the original criminal complaint.

The employee went to the FBI, whose agents got Hemminghaus on tape discussing
the murder. They also obtained the girlfriend's cooperation last March 5, the
day she was supposed to be killed.

She turned over personal items, and some DVDs she'd gotten that day from his
pawn shop. The employee then gave the items to Hemminghaus. Officials said
Hemminghaus paid $200 and promised the rest when he got the hand.

Hemminghaus was arrested as he burned his girlfriend's purse behind his shop.

Yeah, know where that gas station is for sure, but most don't get gas there. It's always 5-10 cents/gallon higher on Illinois side due to taxes, perahps more.

And man, dropping a guy that close to the Police Station. That guy/guys aren't playing, hope they get swept up.

Honey who use to be at the Chameleon asked to tell you mongers that starting Saturday the 6th she will be working the day shift at Blondies. She would like all her old friends to stop in and say hi and I am sure she would make you a new friend.
