There were the center rooms that had glory holes. Seemed to be perimeter rooms that did not. Theater wasn't open when I was there. I didn't stay because I either missed the couple or they didn't show so it was just random guys waiting along the walls. As soon as you closed a door they were either trying to come in with you or went to the other neighboring room for the glory hole. Pleasure land is a dive but the hours are better.

As long as the card has enough money to cover the room + the hold it will go through.

Just heard that Indiana passed a law to start requiring visitors to adult sites to put in your drivers license or other "official" ID and provide your real name and real address. Is this real? This will be another shift on the scale of when Backpage shut down. Too many changes getting way too deep into our personal lives and personal business.

The ACLU, for all their other faults, would never let something like that go through unchallenged. Also, it would be unenforceable what with location based VPNs and other ways of spoofing location.

Another user suggested setting up a VPN with an address in another location. I appreciate that there are potential work-arounds available to view sites that we have taken for granted. Reporting here on USAG is consistent, but it has dropped off from where it had been when I joined some years ago. I had two private messages that pointed out that we may get access using VPN, but there may not be anything here to read since most users will not bother to do that and will just quit posting. Another user sent a link to an article that indicated traffic to his favorite site of his dropped off by 80% in states that already implemented similar laws. I also had three PM's commenting on the politics of Indiana.

This is the most responses I have gotten to a post in a long time. Seems like this issue has hit a nerve. I think this is going to be a change that will be as big as when Backpage shut down or when many quality providers decided to move to OnlyFans instead of meeting their "fans" in person.

However, I don't think it will though because I don't believe that this site is being operated anywhere that would need to worry about the repercussions of not complying with that specific law. The same goes for sites like SkipTheGames and Listcrawler which are both operated overseas. It's why they survived and are still operating long after Backpage got nuked by the government and Craigslist removed their ads. I figure if those sites are out of reach of the feds I don't think a state law out of Indiana is going to concern them all that much.

If I had to guess I'd wager Pornhub and the various free porn sites that are operated stateside are the ones that I think will be hit the hardest once the law goes into effect. Even in those cases I think they find a not terribly horrible way of complying as it's in their financial interest to do so because, as the old joke goes, "If all the porn websites were removed from the internet there would only be one website remaining called Bringbacktheporn.com"

Seems like if the states motive was really verification or keeping kids out, they would have allowed Preferred 411 or other similar sites which are safer verification options. I have now read a summary of your new legislation. They made it as risky as possible to verify. Upload state ID and no recourse at all if the info gets hacked or stolen or you get "outed". I guess we will see which sites survive and which ones don't.

I just did a quick search on Skip and Listcrawler in states that have similar laws and there is no shortage of ads from providers in those states which leads me to believe that since those sites are overseas they are under no obligation to follow those laws. I mean if they aren't worried about facilitating prostitution, which is certainly illegal in 49.9 out of 50 states already I doubt they are going to worry about state laws about blocking children from explicit material. It will certainly kind of suck as far as porn sites go (Again TOR Browser. Totally free work around) but I don't think providers are going to notice much of a difference on the major sites.

Recently posted a request for recommendations for a (now rescheduled) work trip east of South Bend. I know these "visiting your area, help me out" posts don't offer much to the members who use the board, they just create more work.
