I've been trying to find out where London Hub is at. I tried the phone book, 411, pennysaver, everywhere I can think of and there is no listing.

Can anyone help me find this place?

London Hub is the old Kool's lounge, if that helps any. 1320 Kalani St. If on Nimitz, go mauka up Waiakamilo and take a right at the light, LH will be on the left.

We've been having a hard time getting a karaoke room for the away UH football games. Seems like more guys are discovering that with the price of tickets for the games and what Jones did to do away with the many traditions of UH football, people like to watch the games at the bars or on PPV. The past couple away games -- the bars in Kalihi were packed. All Inn was one of those packed places because local women feel real comfortable at that place so its not a place to play although they got a couple players now. There are big tables for large groups so watching the games are better nowdays at the bar. Too bad for the kids but if Jones and UH didn't get so greedy and take care of their loyal fans we wouldn't be watching the games at the bar--good for the bars.

I think OC16 has a hand in it also, trying to monopolize everything. I used to like watching the delayed game on K5 at the bar but now they have to show it the next day. Caches also have the UH games on PPV.

I absolutely agree with Tenbatsu and Peckerwood. With everybody going to bars to watch the Bows (I'm old school, refuse to call them Warriors) nobody is going to the games. It's a crying shame that only 22,000 of us showed up at the Nevada game to cheer the Bows. It was a great game. Hell, I've been to UH games at the Honolulu Stadium with more people in attendance.

So, what's does this have to do with mongering? Probably nothing and this doesn't belong on this board but had to get my 2 cents in.

As someone who went to a powerhouse mainland football college with a stud "mascot" name, I can appreciate why the UH teams changed their names. Afterall, it was the actual team members who prompted the change. They deserve to have a more powerul name than "Rainbows," which everyone knows is the gay symbol.

Anyway, good move to go to "Warriors." You guys need to accept it.

Secondly, June Jones needs to be fired. Herman Frazier too. Why do you NEVER see UH highlights on ESPN? Because of them and their game time policies.

Hey mongers, just got back from about 2 month's working on Lanai. Nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to monger there. We mainly played poker and drank all night. We didn't even have internet access. I was ready for the city so I did my rounds at the Kapiolani KB's on Thurs. and Fri. Man it's like a ghost town. Sat with a couple of my oldies just to chat and they said it's been pretty dead, and getting worse. The crowd's are just not spending as much as before so it's hard to keep the new girls here. They get their free plane ticket from momma, free rent for a month or so, come to work late, make some cash, and skip town. Thanks for the vacation. Not to harp on the "Bows" thread but, we went to eastside Grill and it was humping. Lots of local chicks. Hooked up with a couple of older babes at the end of the night. If an old overweight guy like me can do it, anyone can. I wasn't as lucky as my friend (in bedding her) but I still enjoyed the hunt. At least you know what you are getting, less games and you do realize how many drinks you can buy someone when the drinks are $5 and not $20? You look like a king to them. As nice as it might be to sit next to a young asian and empty my wallet, I'll probably not be posting much in the KB section for a while. I'll probably hit the club scene again like I did just before I went to San Fran and judging by the other threads, I think I'll invest in the AMP scene more. Still nothing going on out there. Last few weeks, my work day has been ending out there, so I checked at a few of the watering holes. Definitely *not* a target-rich environment.

Festival, that place in Pearl Kai seems to be busier lately. A couple of new girls might be helping business. Note that I did not say "young" girls. Most of the business seems to still be serviced by a couple of the veterans including that ditzy one with the bleached hair who always wears walking shorts.

Speaking of our west--I've noticed that by comparison, business has been very steady out pearl city as compared to kapiolani. Last week I went to Red Carnation, Club House, Minami, Waterfall, Golden Gate, and Chance--all packed from 6 to around 11. Sundays are worse with all the golf clubs using the bars for 19th hole. I even saw a couple Kapiolani girls at Club House on sunday. I still say its the steady money versus the quick champagne every 6 months. There was some play at Red Carnation but after 11. Hana of course is still at Club House, but nothing at Minami and Waterfall--those places are too small. Some at Chance but nothing like Festival.

What I noticed about Kyong was the type of dresses whe wears. The two times that I've sat with her, her dress was a "free-flowing" type where one can easily access with their hands, not the tight, second-skin type. Also, everything was "honey, lets go sit at the booth... honey, buy me drink?...honey, blah, blah..."

So did you see a rather petite girl there, about 5' 1" or 5' 2", rather large lips, tanned, I believe black hair? I wouldn't mind getting with her!

Ok 1st off: the woman I had (pretty funny) had NO black hair whatsoever, but of course, she had black eyebrows.
