You'll find that people are pretty tight-lipped about AMPs in the South Bay after all the recent crackdowns. You'll have better luck at an AAMP because those seem to have escaped scrutiny. You can try something like rub maps, but there are so many bullshit reviews for this area that it is hard to trust. If you really want to stick with an AMP, just look for one that's open late and outside the San Jose city limits. Milpitas, Cupertino, and Saratoga still have quite a few good shops from what I've heard. I've personally switched to AAMPs though. They're cheaper and more reliable. I don't have to wonder whether or not I'll get what I want, and I don't have to get it on a rickety massage table.

Always. And they usually ask for. 8 minimum, and so we are already more than most AMP's. Am I missing something here in the proper way to negotiate the tip after base fee for the AAMP?

You pay for the hour or half-hour at the beginning of the session, do the deed, and leave. No tip. Sounds like you got jacked. The flat rate structure is one more reason why AAMPs are superior. No guessing. Just pay the posted rate and you're done.

I'm not completely new to the scene but I wouldn't consider myself a veteran either. There's been something bugging me and I want to see if anyone can shed some light. Why are AMPs so prevalent and not any other races? I understand that the bay area has disproportionate amount of asians living here in comparison to other places but every massage parlor I've come across is run by an asian mamasan.
Has anyone tried places or orgs offering nuru in the south bay?

The asian massages are world renowned. So it isn't surprising they are dime a dozen here as well.

The house fee includes massage only.

Without going into a bunch of details since it seems why'all want to keep the good AMP's on the DL, the one I visited left me quite happy. My provider was very enthusiastic and quite attractive. Many thanks San Jose, my faith in AMP's has been restored! .
