Been there. Done that. In my situation I had seen the escort 18 times. I decided not to see her again because of it. Her point of view was the money kept things in perspective. It kept anyone from getting the wrong idea. There's a lot to be said for that. It just rubbed me the wrong way at the time and maybe that meant I was getting too close without realizing it.

I agree with the concept of keeping things in perspective but when all parties involved understand that this is just a gracious social gesture, not an attempt to take the leap from Hobbyist / Provider to BF / GF then it can and does rub one the wrong way as you said. Hell, dinner and drinks can often outstrip the price of a 'Date' many times.

Bottom line is unless it benefits them (I. E. Taking them to the E. R. For free with no services or money provided in exchange, been there, done that) it is always about the perspective of them getting your money.

I know, I know, some (Professor JRY LOL) are going to say that taking someone to the E. R. Does not equate to taking someone to drinks and dinner, I somewhat agree but if a Provider is going to use the money keeps things in perspective then if they contact a hobbyists for anything other than an appointment then the hobbyist should be compensated in the same manner that the provider is. My time is just as valuable to me as hers is to her, they just don't look at it that way when it is them needing / wanting something outside of an appointment. Again JMHO.

Providers violate this repeatedly because they feel we need them more than they need us. They feel that way because we allow then too. If we consistently used their protocol of money keeps it in perspective and that it is all about the money we as hobbyist would all be better off.

I have to hand it to the S / W thread contributors; hell even if a hobbyist pays too much on their own accord they are reprimanded. If the escort hobbyist had a similar code of conduct we would be much better off. Maybe even have a panel of experienced hobbyist to help guide us all through this hobby of ours and even issue reprimands if necessary similar to the S / W thread. LOL!

Since I was directly mentioned, I will reply. However, I don't think I am going to say much on this topic, which is rare for me I know, but Glass Houses 'n' all...

To the specific point, I will say that taking someone to the ER does not equate to taking someone to drinks and dinner. The ER run is basic humanitarianism and no recompense should be offered or expected. But I think Kinkyguy already knew that when he made his comment and included me. LOL!

I will also reiterate Kinkyguy's earlier point from his previous post that there are some exceptional people (Providers and Hobbyists) out there. And, I am thankful for that for I have made some friends as a result.

I was driving down Vine in Carthage. A blond nodded and I went around the block. She got in. We drove around for a few miles then we parked. We talked about what I wanted and she pulled out her phone and started talking to someone telling them where we were. Upullandplay, a undercover decoy female cop will "NEVER" get in your car like that and have you drive around. Obviously she and who ever she was working with didn't have the scam worked out to trick you. You don't know how lucky you are my friend.

She could of easily direct you to a place to park and while she got your pants down to your ankles sucking you off had another person come up to your car and rob you. Not a good situation to be in. This is an Old scam from way back.

What you can do is either PM me or again post again in Streetwalker Thread every detail you can recall about this chick. No detail is insignificant and even the exact corner on Vine in Carthage where you picked her up. What color jacket she wore, did she smoke, anything you can remember.

BTW was it near the UDF on Vine just south of the Speedway and White Castle?

For clarification, did you make the appointment in the morning for noon the same day, or did you make it a day or so in advance? If it was made a day or so in advance of the day of the lunch were the two of you in contact during the morning of the lunch to confirm?
