They are right around the corner from each other. I have been going with my wife to Discretions since we met a lot of cool people there our first time. We went to Encounters the first night, and the parking lot had 2 cars in it and 3 dudes standing in the parking lot, so we left and went to Discretions. I haven't heard good things about Encounters from people who have been there, so haven't checked it out yet.
We have been about 6 times to Discretions, and there are always plenty of single dudes there.
