Well OK, I've been there myself, and I can't bear the thought of seeing M.80s bare bottom hopping out of a downtown alley down Fremont with his shorts tangled in a prickly pear cactus. I jealously guard my parking spots, especially downtown, not wanting them to become littered with condom wrappers and stuff from rude tourists or otherwise get spoiled or become unsafe, but I think he probably qualifies as an honorary local, so I'm sending him one of mine to file away for his next visit. Even if the, um, permanent residents of this area are not likely to, er, rise up in outrage over this use of their, ah, turf, it wouldn't do to have places like this get abused or widely broadcast, and I'll trust him to be neat and polite in using it, and NOT to share. And everybody else: don't ask.

Hmmmmmm. How much do you want to spend?

Safe, clean, touristy strip: $150-sky's the limit for fs.

Downtown, grimy crack hos, lots of LE for a stranger: $20-50.

Nothing really in between.

Two low budget hotels in the middle of the strip action are the Casino Royale and the IP.

Lots of late night cg/sw action. Also for a large selection of take out do your homework on CL. But whatever you do ignore the free smut rags and agency handouts on the strip.

Thanks for the info Jayste2 and speck i'll do some price checking on IP and Casino Royale. I'm looking for something that starts at 100 a night, dont want to be around too many crack ho's I see too many of them here in NY daily. Is there a guest policy at these hotels?

I decided to hang around the Flying J truck stop on I-15/Cheyenne friday night. Spotted 2 white chicks roaming around. I was in a car so they stayed clear of me, must have thought I was undercover LE.
First time checking this out. I plan on hitting T/A down on Blue Diamond Hwy/I-15 next weekend. I havent seen in reports in the Truck stop forum, these areas must be low-key.

I'll first note that mongering mid strip is far easier on weekdays than on weekends.

As per my post, IP and Casino Royale are scummy hotels in an area of much nicer places. Scummy may be overdoing it...they aren't that bad really. No crack ho's in this area. Only late night girls working at the casino bars and walking in between casinos. Basically cost breaks down like this:

Imperial Palace:

Standard room on weekends - $80-150 per night depending on the time of year
Weekdays - $50-80 except perhaps during conventions.

Casino Royale:

On weekends - $60-120 per night depending on time of year
Weekdays - $40-60

CG prices:

High end casino bars(9pm-3am....Bellagio, Ceasars, Venetian, etc) They start at $500-600. It may cost more, you are unlikely to get it for less than $300, even if the girl is willing to negotiate. The earlier in the evening it is, the less likely you will be able to negotiate at all.

Low end casino bars(midnight to 3am...Flamingo is especially popular) They usually start at $300 and thats usually the price. Sometimes $200 if you are nice and the cg is in a good mood.

Street from Harrahs to Barbary Coast(About 2am to 5am): There is occasionally a really hot girl out here....there is always some decent ones. Just make the walk. This is where $200 usually does it and sometimes $150 can be ok. There are no LE worries on weekend night. Weekdays are another story. Keep your wits about you though and pay attention to your suroundings. This area is not nearly as safe as it appears to be.

I spotted are really nice looking white blonde near Boulder and East Desert Inn Rd. I followed her trying to get eye contact when on one of my u turns two cops on motercycles obviously noticed what I was doing and make a u turn to intercept. I drove straight towards the strip and managed to avoid any hassle. But my heart was pounding if you know what I mean. No luck in Vegas this trip.

I guess you didn't read my post on BH.

I just went there last night and met a wsw. I saw her walking, so I drove far enough past her to some store and pulled in. When she arrived to the store, I got out and acted like I was counting my money and she walked over to me.

Either walk to your date (after parking somewhere) or let her walk to you. There is nothing wrong with meeting someone and going to get a drink. Even if she is a prior, you ran into her by chance, not pulling off to the side of the road, which is an obvious act.

I was cruising Tropicana the other night and I saw two unmarked police cars. How did I know they were cop cars? Well I saw them pulling people over. They were Chevy Impalas. One was all white with black wheels/rims and the other was all black. I can usually spot the unmarked cop cars because they usually have some dorky antenna coming out of the back but these cars had the same dorky antenna but it was much smaller and hidden right behind the rear window so you could not see the black antenna that well as it blended in with the tinted windows. Oh, all of the windows on those cars had very dark tint as well.

Enough about the cars. Although there has been a decline in the number of SW's on trop, there are always some that you can find, if you hang around long enough.

I remember where I met my last date on BH, who is a chocolate lover :).
The place is called The lagoon Saloon. It has a smoke shop next to it.

There is an intersection close by and if you go east, you will pass a horse ranch. There is a dead end road that way, so if you go down a bit, you can see anyone coming from afar.

MVP stated he made "one" of his u-turns and may have attracted some heat.
BH cruising advice, never do u-turns. They watch those spots and figure you
may be up to something.

What I do is start from Sahara and go south until about Gibson. If at any point I need to turn around because there is potential on the other side, I turn at the next right turn, and go down the street and come back to that traffic light.

The girls that are working are somewhat obvious, they are seen walking up and down the highway in dark areas that most women wouldn't be walking that time of night. There are hard working women that catch the bus at bus stops, but the ones who walk alot or stand in the darker areas know the regulars will find them.

I got to the T/A truck stop on I-15/blue diamond after sunset friday night. I spotted only 1 wsw that was not top quality, lot of truckers were turning her away.
I went into the store for a soda later, and noticed the CB radios for sale, I think that is the trick on finding girls by cb'ing other truckers in the area.

Mongered at all kinds of times over the first 2 1/2 days of my LV stay in the downtown, BH, Paradise, Strat, and Sierra Vista areas. Found almost nothing and the few I did find were either not worth picking up, didn't see me, or I decided it was too chancy a situation from a LE point of view. I started thinking it's probably easier to find street action in Vatican City than here. Finally I figured I'd give Trop another try. It's much more low key than before and there's nowhere near as many girls but there is a little bit of quality action to be found. Midnight on Saturday I was stopped at the corner of Valley View and standing right there waiting to cross the street was a very pretty petite brunette in short skirt, maybe 18-19. She was 15 feet away so I got a good look. I'd give her a 9.5 on the SW scale. Even though there was a string of cars behind me at the light, it's so hard to pick girls up on this street I regretted not asking her if she wanted a ride. Instead I did a quick little spin around and passed her as she walked down toward McD's. I heard her yelling on her cell complaining about having to walk so far. I tried a little maneuver to get closer to her but a whole group of mongers had the same idea and one lucky guy beat me to her. Would have paid more than usual for that one.
