I haven't had much to add to this board because my experience in Clearwater has not been very productive. Perhaps looking in the wrong places, or perhaps there is nothing to find here. In any case, reading about the Tampa scene has prompted some curiosity and I will make a trip or 2 to the Nebraska corridor this year.

Regarding the raincoat question, I do not care for the feel of them, but I prefer that my man wear one when we play with other females as I believe they save lives. To the guy with the Mons question: I think that club is a rip-off. I have seen the Cleopatra wig chick and she is very beautiful but has one of the worst attitudes. As in, "I'm so hot, I just stand here naked and people throw money at me." In my opionion, Mons should be left to the college freshmen on Spring Break. Put it this way, if I was going to be a dancer I would work at the Mons because those girls make a lot for doing very little. Some of the girls will work after hours but usually only for a LOT of money. I once saw a dancer leave Mons with a customer but he was extremely attractive, head-to-toe Armani, you get the idea. Plus he had been buying those $25 dances from her all night. The good thing about Mons is that their "lowest common denominator" is usually a little better than the other clubs (i.e., the ugliest dancer at the Pony is probably worse than the ugliest dancer at the Mons). However, some of those non-Mons places have beautiful girls who will give you FS, BJ, etc. right there in the VIP.
The worst strip club is probably the Library Lounge. I swear I saw one of the lunch ladies from my elementary school days dancing in there. 'nuff said. However, I am sure everybody in there is available for extras. You just gotta strike a balance.

I have been a lurker for a couple of weeks. So far, I have gotten a lot of good info from this site, but I also know in the long run members need to post as well for a site to continue to be any good. I don't have a lot of experience in the street scene. But I will share a few things that I know from the overall scene in Tampa.
The Tanga finally closed its doors to make way for road expansion on the Courtney Campbell. There are no definite plans to reopen, but they are still trying to find a new location (possibly on Adamo?). In the meantime, from what I understand a lot of the dancers have moved over to the Ybor Strip.
In answer to the previous poster. I have enjoyed entertaining evenings in both the Mons and the 2001, but Lil Nip had it exactly right. They are tease palaces. The girls at the Mons rake it in without having to put out very much, so why would they bother doing an illegal act on or off premises unless perhaps they found some sucker willing to really plunk down a real shitload of money (in which case he should still be able to get a much better deal elsewhere). The 2001 is not much different, just a Mons wannabe. Go to those places and enjoy the lapdances if thats your thing. If you want more action try one of the other many clubs where you can get more on and off premises.
I'm not normally into AMP's, but I had this recent dream about one. It was called something like the Yoshiko on a road named after a president. The attendants were very attractive and sexily dressed so I imagine they give a special massage. The rates were $80 for an hour and $60 for half that. In my dream, I went with one named Cherry. What are the best times to cruise these various places (which days, afternoon, evening, night or late nite/early morn)? What are the worst times for selection and LE activity (are Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday nights still bad)? Where and when do we find some of the recent gals mentioned and are they still active (Marina, Blondie etc.)? Getting off the street, what is the best AMP to go to and what are the rates? What are the best strip clubs? Tanga is no more, Lipstixx was $60 and $100 in the back (or so I imagine) don't how it is at the new Lipstixx, the PP and YS have also been recommended.
That covers a lot but still leaves out escorts and adult theaters. I'll have to cover them in future posts.

What are the best times to cruise?
Best to avoid ' prime times' like 7am-10 am ,4pm-7pm, 2am-4am ,because johns have scooped up anything decent available . Better times are 11am -1pm when girls are looking to get motel rent and times other than prime time .Weekend days tend to be great lately.(bring your camera and share with your fellow mongers :) )

The streets you mentioned are all possibilities .Wherever there is a motel will be a hot aera on those streets. Allmost All street workers are crack heads and work/smoke out of these motels or the large chain hotels close by.
Here is a snapshot (shot yesterday) from an aera that can be productive despite a sherriff station on it.Its off north Nebraska, 142nd street North. go down to about 22nd and back. Many times I've had luck there.

Drew Park used to have ladies working INSIDE the theaters, but after a couple of raids, the owners of the theaters cracked down on that. I wish I knew where they all went. Well, as much as it kills me to report this, I feel it is my duty to do so.
I made a visit to the Pink Pony last night and when I say the place was dead, that was an understatement.
After the raid and making the front page news on two seperate occasions the past couple of weeks, it has taken it's toll on the establishment.
There were only 3 girls working where usually there are between 15-20 at any given time. The sign said under New Management.
To make a long story short, there is nothing extra happening in the VIP rooms anymore. The curtains have been taken down and the girl that I finally took back told me that Big Brother was watching and nothing beyond a dance can happen anymore.
I truly hope this is a temporary set back since this place is a great institution known for all the extras that can be had for a price.
