I just use reviews and or their website to establish the rate. I've never had a problem laying down a donation and the girl saying the rates changed.

Sometimes its the same provider too but just using different numbers or pictures. I've probably gone to more than a dozen of these and out of all of them, probably 2 were nice girls. The rest were definitely not close to the girls in the pictures. I would definitely just walk out and just dodge any messages they send afterwards.

I have had more than one provider quote me rates higher than what I anticipated, especially from the girls who did not state any rates in their ads (back when that was common). You can not trust that the provider has not raised their rates published on TER or in older ads that you may find. If the provider will not tell me what she wants then I pass and move on to the next. That is a red flag for me. It is very uncomfortable to learn of this discrepancy when face to face with the girl when it is easily avoided by simply stating rates before the session. I totally get the whole "Is this an Uncle" thing. But clients need to protect themselves as well. Haggling over money while face to face at the providers location is not the smartest decision in my opinion.

LOL.[/QUOTE]I agree with Triptogamont and others who have responded similarly on this topic. I never go to a meeting without already having arranged time, length, and donation. And these arrangements are almost always made by text.

Maybe some people's different experiences or habits are related to a different place or time. In this post I'm only referring to what I do currently and with Backpage providers (since this is the "Backpage Advertiser" thread).

With the current Backpage format and in this area, there are many providers posting, who don't have a website, or reviews that include specific donation rates. So the only way to know the donation is by provider communications. Sometimes I ask, but more often when I state the session length I want, the provider's reply includes the required donation.

Of course if a provider has a website that lists donations, and you've been directed to the website, then subsequently asking her about donations could certainly cause her to be concerned, or at least irritated.

I can give dozens of examples of BP gals with much higher rates than their reviews state. Ivy is a good example: she's $$. 2 for an Hr yet oThER site still says just $ for the Hr. But there is a lot more to consider. I follow Fayetteville forum and have been there several times to see great providers (and bad providers) and a few UTRs provided by some awesome SMs in that area. But if you know that forum, you know very well not to bring anything that you are not willing to lose. If bringing extra $$ was the norm, it would be a literal thieves market. Even the vanilla oThER reviews reveal roberies by providers and handlers, even with previously reviewed girls. One guy tried to walk away from a catfish and two thugs approached in the parking lot, both reaching for weapons. His was already drawn. You don't hear stuff like that in Raleigh but the potential is always there. So I am not just worried about Uncle, and we know some well reviewed girls have been turned, but I am also worried about the handlers and the ability of any provider to be taken over by one since her last reviews. This is why the flow of info here is important. If you see a provider, even if well reviewed in the past, it communicates that she is still good; or maybe not good, remember the twins? Things change fast. If a girl can't meet new clients without getting cold feet, maybe she should offer a first visit with reduced services, or ask for references (I mentioned I have references). I would respond to that, and would be more interested in meeting her for a possible regular provider. Lili's third text was her rate, right after I told her my time preference. Of course, this is all just a dream I had a few days ago.

She's used a few different numbers in the past few days. I called her the other night and talked to her for a few minutes. She sounds legit on the phone (not that that's worth much!) but she was down on Capital and I didn't have time to drive all the way down there before I had to meet a friend for a late dinner.
