In all fairness, I have mongered much more and for a longer time in Philly than in Camden, but I feel I have mongered in Camden enough to have a perspective sufficiently informed to make a comparison. I don't want to denigrate either place because each has its good points. I would have to say that both locations have a number of truly outstanding SWs, but it is my experience that Philly tends to have more in this category, a more constantly changing variety of SWs, and a greater number of SWs in general. Also, Camden seems to have more SWs at the mediocre to bottom end of the scale than Philly. In Philly, you also occasionally get a chance to find a girl that is not typically drug-addicted and/or with a pimp. See 2 recent posts I did on this for details:

There have been more SWs on the K lately, in my experience, outside the norm of the more typical drug-addicted and/or pimp-affiliated girls. But, this is not some brand new development. It is a change IMHO that has been going on ever since the recession began. Rather than pulling some estimate out of my ass, I looked over the SWs I have dated in 2009 and 2010, and reported on in here, and here is my own personal breakdown:
2009: Classic drug-addicted and/or pimp-affiliated SWs: 34 (69%)
Other (mostly just girls looking to make some extra dough): 15 (31%)
2010: Classic drug-addicted and/or pimp-affiliated SWs: 44 (73%)
Other (mostly just girls looking to make some extra dough): 16 (27%)
I certainly don't pretend to portray all the SW activity on the Ave, but this is a pretty good representative sampling. It may just be reflective of my personal preferences, but the stats are interestingly pretty consistent from 2009 t0 2010: roughly 2/3 to 1/3 in the categories noted: something to think about.

I wasn't sure whether you were admiring the quantity of my SW encounters, or the information they were delivering, but thank you on either count.
More "stats:" I have been contributing to this Forum less than 2 years now, but I have reported on and/or posted pics of more than 150 [b]DIFFERENT[/b] SWs (including both Philly and Camden), not to mention many I have reported on and/or posted pics of on more than one occasion. And, as many of you are already well aware from my latest 4000th SW Pic Anniversary Contest, I have posted more than 4000 SW pics and I am well on my way to 5000.
In my head I was thinking that a rough estimate of 1 in 3 SWs on the K is actually just some gal down on her luck: out of work, single Mom from the burbs, girl who just moved to Philly from somewhere else (maybe even with a bf) and is looking to make some extra money for food and rent, a "normal" chick just supplementing her income, or a college student trying to make some extra dough for school expenses. etc. I think you have a better chance of finding these girls the more time you spend exploring the K because: even though these SWs seem to look better than most, and tend to be very accommodating providers and actually enjoy sex, they don't have a daily habit to feed, are not out as much, are usually out in the day as opposed to the evening or at night, and don't tend to remain on the Ave for long. It is not an absolute daily necessity, nor something they intend to do for a long time. I think there are many more out there than you think because they seem to come and go more quickly than the girls who are drug-addicted and/or with pimps.
Counting my actual experiences on the K confirmed my rough estimate of 1 in 3 almost exactly, and it was consistent for 2009 and 2010 to date. That's a side benefit of keeping a running public log of one's SW exploits.
The situation in Camden is far different IMHO. I have yet to run into a SW in Camden who was not a heroin junkie, with the exceptions of convincing a dancer in a strip bar and a few "occasional SWs" in GC to allow me to take pics and be intimate for a "reward." :) Maybe there are some non-junkies roaming Broadway or the strolls in East Camden; however, I haven't met one yet.
