I had gone to Lotus Spa once hearing that the MS from China Spa went there, and she was still very nice and low keyed, but the girls that worked there were lame, so I haven't gone back.

Hey anyone checked out the place on Queen st now that it has a new name. Didn't go to the previous place because of the reivews, but drove by the other morning and saw the new sign. Only thing I didn't like is the entrance right on Queen. Lots of guys out working across the street. Any info?

I've always wondered why cities allow AMPs if they know what theyre doing? The conspiracy theorist in me is very curious.

Prostitution is supposedly illegal and they ALL know or are aware so why is this law not enforced really? With the exception of the occasional public policy bust example to show theyre doing something.

My take is that these things actually reduce sexual crimes in certain demographics. An outlet if you will.

Anyone else care to expound?

Ask any cop or lawyer."Knowing" is very different from "proving". Yes, every sane adult knows what goes on in those places, but in a criminal case, one has to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

If the "business" has the required operating permits, LE has to prove they are actually engaging in criminal activity. In some cities, the requirement of a massage license is dodged by labeling the establishment as something like a "relaxation center", avoiding mention of massage.
