I have a CL friend I need to hook up with. I used to go to the former Days inn In Lansing along 94. They used to have 4 hour rates. They are now the United Inn, and the hourly rates are gone.
Any opinion on the Harvey / South Holland Motels, like the Starlite, the CloverLeaf, Cherry Lane? There is one that is $25 for 2 hours on 159th, the Deluxe Inn. Hate to be rushed like that but that may work out.
I'll take options in NWI as well as she is from that area.
There's a place I know that charges $25 for 2 hrs and $30 for 3 hours and $40 for 4 hours. I got $60 for 6 hours once. Boy that was a fun date. This place in near Toyota Park on Harlem. So not where you need it to be. But my point is ANY place that does hourly rates will quote you a price for three hours. Since they have to clean the room once (maybe?) anyway, they would likely give you a decent 3 hour rate. I mean they aren't a Marriott Christ sakes. It's whatever the desk guy feels like charging. Bob.

Thanks for the info. I did try negotiations at the new United Motel. She wasn't willing.
Just to be clear I am aware of the Harlem ave motels. They are too far away for this meeting. Specifically looking at the NWI or South Holland or Harvey places.

Its set back off the road. Run by a friendly, engaging, smiling Indian. $28/4 hours for the the little one room "tourist cabins" from the 1930's. Double bed, sink and toilet. No shower. There is an addition with connected rooms, probably built in the 50's. We got the room with a king size bed and a shower. The place was clean enough.
