Several assumptions there about me, someone you've never met. Truth is I've met the jerk, twice, once at TPC and the other at a cigar shop on Sand Lake in Orlando just down from his house. It is not the words that make the crime, but the intent and actions. While LEO would like to have you on tape, they don't need a recording of your words to prosecute or convict you. LEO can testify about what you said or did to make them conclude you wanted sex for $. They can also testify about the reputation of the place or person you were patronizing. They can (and sometimes will) make up evidence if they think you meant to commit the crime but didn't say or do exactly what they wanted. You should obviously hire a lawyer if they arrest you, but even if the evidence against you is weak, the lawyer's ability to get you out of it is going to be limited because there is likely no other [B]reasonable[/B] Explanation for why you were where you were, talking to that woman, with a wad of cash in your pocket, etc. The best advice I can give is, to the extent possible, know who you are dealing with before you ever start talking to them at all. I appreciate your comments and respect regarding my recommendations. The reason why I wrote this is because I have been involved in several LEO stings. They have never gotten me for soliciting a working girl; never. The cops can say what they want but if I agree to see a girl and I never mention anything about me wanting to have s-x with you for money, there is nothing they can do to ultimately convict me of this alleged crime. Again, I have been through it enough to know- so much so, I even received a letter from them (can't go into details here). They can make up anything they want- that's their prerogative; however, the key here is, if they don't have proof that I solicited for s-x, their case is as weak as hens piss.
They can say what they want about I contacted a well known prostitute, I had a wad of cash, I was in a bad area, the girl has been arrested for prostitution before or whatever, but all this is purely circumstantial and again, ultimately will not hold up in court. That's why I kind of gave a bit of a disclaimer, so to speak, that they might arrest you anyway even if you didn't agree to anything. But the reason they may do this is so you still have to prove your innocence by paying your bond and hiring an attorney- which is very inconvenient (costly) and the charge (though thrown out) will still appear on your record- which can also look bad (though charges were thrown out). But as far as convicting you for soliciting for prostitution, they cannot (absolutely cannot) convict you for this.
The law is clear regarding the definition of prostitution: exchanging s-xual favors for money or monetary value. As long as I never agree to such a thing, by law, they cannot convict me and a good or even decent attorney would get that thrown out. Like I said, I wouldn't be saying all this if I hadn't had the privilege of having several interactions with LEO for this. They could have taken me in any time and any day but even LEO had enough sense to leave me alone because they knew they didn't have nada! I am sure they weren't afraid of me- no way. But why do all the paperwork and know that it won't stick? Guess if one acts like a prick, they might take you through the ringer but I was always respectful and just never agreed to s-x for money. And if a girl ask you to bring a raincoat- decline!
One time I (make a long story short) went to visit a lady at motel 6 and her supposed boyfriend came outside the room and told me to give him the money of which I declined. He then tells me to go inside the room and talk to the lady. Very beautiful blond sitting on bed. The Miranda didn't say your silence shall be used against you BUT it does say your words shall be used against you in court! Who cares if me being quiet makes me look like I'm hiding something. I am not giving them my azz on a platter and guess what, a lawyer can do more with that than they can if you sat up there and ran your mouth. Any lawyer worth their salt will tell you to be silent. The method I proposed (hear me good) will most likely (90%) not get you arrested But definitely will not get you convicted. It is the conviction you are mainly concerned about. There is nothing LEO can add to the law concerning what prostitution is. Wads of cash, being with a known prostitute, etc is not enough; why- she may be a known working girl but I could have simply come to get a body rub which is legal. They cannot read my mind (at least they never read mine) and say he was thinking about it. That ain't going to fly. They can't say you look like you wanted to go pass the speed limit because you had that look in your eye. But as long as I stay below the designated limit, there is nothing they can do to me. As long as you get a decent attorney, you should be fine.
I know I said last thing but let me quickly speak to the lawyering up issue. I had a family member who LEO wanted to talk to about an alleged crime; I talked to a brother-in-law who is an attorney and another attorney who I was going to retain about the issue. They said to me, never talk to LEO without an attorney present. I called LEO back and told him I won't be speaking to them without a lawyer. Shall I tell you how fast that case went away? Lawyer up gents- providing it gets that far!

My best successes have been at upscale places where a large tip is easy to convey one's intentions, especially with some playful banter during the meal. By the nature of the arrangement, every person with whom I've succeeded is an "under the radar" girl as none of them were advertising for the attention they received. That said, for specifics, and to protect those young ladies, I'm happy to reply privately lest someone walk into a restaurant and expect to go home with the staff. If I am responding to an ad and the lady is LEO-undercover (this is specifically what I am addressing), how can LEO testify about her reputation if she's LEO. She's not considered a well known prostitute so this wouldn't make the cut- I am not talking about a real working girl here; only LEO. Also, most of us frequent the motel / hotel scene- it would be quite presumptuous of them to assume that just because a man is visiting these places that they are there to break the law. Again, all I have to say is that I am there for a Body rub and they can't assume otherwise. Well, guess they can assume I just flew in from the moon but what does it matter if the charges won't stick. Now they will tell you a lot of things about what your intentions were but the reason why they do this is to make you fess up. If you fall for this old trick then they will get you- I don't fall for the okie dokie. They will sit there and tell you all the reasons why you came to that appt (like they did with me) but as long as I stuck to my story, I was untouchable!
