I've received favorable quotes from some of the finest providers we have solely based on stance of fair and balanced pricing. I don't haggle, I just tell them good luck. Boycott the GPS providers and the inflation will reverse. Most of these providers could not hold down a minimum wage job. $100/ hr is generously fair IMHO.

In my humble opinion I believe the signal comes wrong from the other sources like SD or SA sites where mongers are falling for ridiculous amounts of donations like offering around 400 average for some sort of exclusive and low rotation GPS. That is like a domino effect that is passes onto the regular providers who think naive mongers will fall for it. The SD, SA gals looking for rookies and some UTR enhanced by white knights creates a collateral damage in the pockets of us who enjoy the hobby. I am with you to not fall for it, but lately many of us ends thinking with the other head and resignation after frustration in lieu of a lackluster service.
