Did a cruise through a few Kalihi kbs. Starlite- Nice crowd of mostly house customers and karaoke. Lee mama and both past mamas looking well. Decent scenery. Honu- Smallish weekend crowd of house customers. Keiko mama & Kimi having a good time. Same scenery so nothing exciting. Wave- place was packed and bar full but not my crowd type. Pool tables busy. Cute bartender and very limited scenery. Green T- bar full, most tables taken. No shortage of kbgs. Def the place to go if you like the ladies. Good luck getting a seat at the bar. 904- felt like a baby in there except that the kbgs & house customers were the ones wearing the diapers. Connie mama was lone piece of scenery. Waterfall- dead, few bar customers, one table occupied, only kbg Melissa working. Looked slow, was slow. Nice guy Peter no longer bartender. No one at play with the grandmas in the dark side booths. 5-O- looked slow so didn't go in, save money. Stay Safe Gentlemen.

Aloha gents,

I have a grooms party in town this week and the best man wants to "get crazy" and karaoke. I'm familiar with the AMP scene but not kbars / vbars. Are the karaoke in private rooms or is it public? If the latter, does the whole bar kinda get into the singing or is it just listening to a solo singer? I was originally thinking something like Wang Chung, but the best man stated he wanted to get some action. Part of me wants to ditch him at a MP, while the rest of us go karaoke somewhere. Mahalo for all your advice.

But it's going to cost big bucks somewhere around $500 each or in that neighborhood (or more). Much more affordable is just go to any bar and get a table (s) for the group. Pay as you go No Tab. Repeat. NoTab. Keep watch for your best man who wants to get crazy. Someone is going to be paying big bucks and getting nothing at the end of the night. He could be trouble or cause unfortunate drama.

GT upstairs is your best bet.

The new owners and I guess us as customers screwed things up. Before the girls would sit with you, chat a little and maybe ask for a drink. Now the servers jist ask you, "need a girl?" While they girls sit using thier phones. How do I know if I want to buy her a drink?? Let her come over to chat and we can find out. I appreciate your reponse and will try to check out gt. But pretty much that's it, I don't have much respect for the parasite KBG that have no moral in leading some guy on only for stink finger action while emptying his wallet. They should get a real job and not compete among themselves who gets that $600 purse, BMW or brag on some stupid sugar daddy wasting his money when he can get much better hot college females who can actually hold a logical intelligent conversation with some tuition and allowance. My friend actually has some account and has about 4 different hot college females on his watch.

I also heard that Vegas Club and or Starlight is pretty good, but haven't been there recently. With the recent changes in ownership at some of these places, the action might be good for a little while. Good hunting to you.
