That wouldn't surprise me. I've occasionally seen some SW around warmsprings / lv blvd just west of the rental car center. Usually WSW tweeker types. There's a weekly motel across from the outlet mall, which is likely where they take up residence.

Early this morning around 1:30 I headed towards Ogden Ave{downtown} where I usually find a nice tweeker type for a quick BBBJ.

What I found instead was a cop parked on just about every other corner.

They were like flies. Everywhere I looked there was a cop.

I also saw NUMEROUS arrests at different locations. Mostly street people {bums}.

Lots of people in cuffs.

Then it hit me. A few days ago a homeless guy was stabbed and killed right near there on Foremaster street.

I guess they were still looking for the guy.

Not a tweeker to be found.

Drove to Boulder and although I saw no cops-I didn't see any girls either.

I need some new locations.

Not for the expensive pro types-I prefer the addicts.

So before I went home I figured I'd try Stewart Ave-right off the strip- found this one woman that I hadn't seen before.

I have been rtff and I have seen a little talk about Uncle Leo presence, but only suspicions. My impression of Vegas is that Uncle Leo is not to worried about the SW activity. Locals, while every city you have to be smart, do the checks and the whole nine yards, nonetheless, how concerned do you have to be worried about getting caught in Vegas?

Metro enforces the law in this regard no less than any other large metropolitan police department.

Just because it happens in Vegas doesn't mean that you can't get caught in Vegas.

So I'm heading north on that side of the street towards Nelis where I get "spotted" by some bimbo I guess once blew me.

It was around 1:30 IN THE AFTERNOON and this wacky tweeker was getting ready to cross the street when she saw me.

Because it was daylight and I'm scared to death of the police, I PARKED my car in the Palomino lot and WALKED over to close to where she was.

I motioned to her and she came over.

We agreed that later tonight we'd hook up.

She was fiending whatever it is she takes and offered to blow me for 10 bux-but we hadda do it NOW.

No way I'm doing that shit in the daylight BUT I was feeling kinda bad for her so I gave her the 10 anyway.

Fast forward about 12 hours and there I am again.

And there she is.

WITH ANOTHER WOMAN.

The other woman was even too vile by my standards to mess with.

I kid you not with this conversation that went something like this:

This a a part of the city and county's way of earning cash. That is really all it comes down to. They do not want the activity to stop because it brings in big money in fines and fees. It keeps cops on the job, prosecutors and clerks busy, helps the lawyers pay their taxes, and keeps judges fat and lazy.

Stay Safe, Stay Free.[/QUOTE]This is so true, in addition to the solicitation enforcement and fines another major source of revenue comes from the traffic fines given out by the motor cycle LE, who regularly set up speed traps all over especially in the more affluent neighbor hoods. Another win-fall came recently when the new cell phone law went into effect. In a 4hr sting metro handed out 250 fines. Luckily most of these fines can be taken care of by the multitude of traffic fixer lawyers with no points, court, or traffic school. Yes money does make this town go round.

Past experience working casino security, hardly a day went by we didn't ger a 'trick roll' report. Losses sometimes in the thousands of dollars; it was not uncommon to watch elevator video during the time frame of the roll and see the CG putting the John's belongings in their purses etc. So yea, vice works solicitation issues, as does casino security (Metro aren't the only ones setting up stings). Victim almost always expects the casino to comp him on his losses. Not going to happen! SW gals pull a different type of robbery, often much more dangerous involving pimps and guns.

Speed traps in Vegas don't exist: we post signs on streets telling you how fast you can go without getting a ticket. It's your decision. - and consequences if you choose to not follow the sign's advice and a cop is in the area.

Inattentive driving due to cell phone use and texting is projected to replace DUI as a leading cause of major accidents, according the NTSB and insurance companies. At $50 a pop on third offense, it's hardly a cash cow. Or incentive to not do it.

I finished gambling on the strip around 7pm and I normally cut onto industrial and head toward tropicana. On industrial behind ceasers I saw a blonde dark skinned SW'er! So I'm out on freemont on thurs around 630 to 800. First I run into a BSW, she was horribly rude and ugly so I actually had to pay her just to get out of my car.
