Sandra mama runs a good show there. Always a seat to be had esp with the large front bar and when open the smaller back bar. Seen a number of new kbgs there as well as recycled ones. Decent kitchen and if you make your bartender happy they'll reciprocate. Also recommend Starlite on Kohou St as well as 904 a bit mauka. New mamas at both bars have brought in new and recycled talent. Not been thru the Waikamilo complex lately but I kno that Lilac and Green Tee have quasi-new management. Concur with WT that play can add up as they all have their price point for play although I'm not sure if it's different anywhere else. Seems like the AMPs are getting that way too. It makes a big difference who the bartender is, so please note the day of the week to go and who to see? I don't mind buy a neko for good service and some conversation, but not where they ask you to buy them.

After all, that's their job. Just tell them "sorry, I don't buy girls drinks. " Or if you want to fuck with them, just say, "sorry, I only buy drinks for one person". They may ask--and you want them to--who? To which you respond, "Me". Laugh. She'll walk away "aieeesh" and tell the others you're a cheap charlie, then you'll be left alone. Occasionally one will still approach because she thinks she's all that. Give her the only one person line. "Aieesh!

I'm a new monger in a semi open marriage and my wife will let me monger occasionally.

But I have to ask, how does the bar scene work? What typically goes on there and what are the price ranges?

If I bring my wife would that kill the vibe of the bar?

I find that hotel, restaurant, department store bars are options. If I do choose to go to a hostess type bar with chillin' in mind then I would go very early, before the vampire BGs are out hunting. But due to work getting a early drink doesn't work for me. Mind you, one can decline the request to sponsor the BG as Pursuer has so eloquently advised but then the TV will be keeping you and your cold one company (ask for the remote LOL). Engaging in conversation with the bartender will probably also cost you a courtesy neko but may be a better return on investment in the long run if they remember and take care of you down the road (chips, nuts, M&Ns & fresh fruit LOL). Granted though I do enjoy the "scenery" when I trip into a KB. Remember when if you sat at the bar it was understood that you were not to be preyed upon? My how have things changed. Just wondering if anyone sat with Yuka at Camelot within the past 1-1/2 months. Wonder if she left the business as her phone number got disconnected.

Wondering about WaterFall since the change over, anyone been there and any reports and who is working early. I heard a rumor the $$$ went up since new owners took over. Also heard they open early cause there are regular customers from the old place like at 8 am? Thanks.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]New Waterfall ie "Green Tee version 2" opens at 8 am same as when gangster mama Jackie was running Green Tee. I don't get up that early to enjoy a cold one so I can't say who opens / barkeeps then. Day bartenders start at noon, Melissa and / or Sylvia. Night bartenders are Peter and Joe. I've seen some of the previous ajumma kbgs lurking about as well. I was told it's pretty busy for the UH games but empties out soon after the game is over. Not been there for Saturday or Sunday morning football yet. Full kitchen, many large screen TVs, karaoke, game machines available. The "dark side" section once known for happy endings and the like has been cleaned up and renovated (sanitized? LOL). Not sure but at one time they were offering 2 beers for $5 during happy hour. Stay Safe.
