Lately, when I have been trying to get a girl to go to a motel, they have been asking for money upfront to get their candy to take to the motel. Some people perform much better when properly medicated; others become a nightmare to deal with. Understanding the addict mentality is important. Cash in hand is all that matters. The potential for more money later usually isn't much of an incentive.

I rarely front anything, but will on occasion. It typically depends on my experience with the provider, along with the amount I'm willing to lose without getting pissed. To me, it's not worth letting dope fiend logic burn a solid provider.

So far, this approach has worked out well—but never front more than you're prepared to lose.
