When someone has a BP account they have a page where their ads are listed and they can edit or delete the ads. If a girl makes a personal change such as leaving town, vacation etc. She can delete the ad or "do nothing" and let it stay there, eventually if she lets it stay there it will be replaced by the current ads and go into oblivion but it is still there and can be brought up using key words. It won't stay forever but some remain for a significant amount of time.
