I saw Pixie's post, it showed exceptional clarity of thought and I commented it was well written. Well written posts stand out because there are so few of them.

I was not agreeing or disagreeing with what Pixie said. I have no background with her to form an opinion on the merits of what she said. Only that she expressed herself very well.

I'm sorry, but as long as you publicly advertise your service you can expect to be reviewed. I'm guessing pixie's business isn't as gangbusters as she claims, or I wouldn't be seeing he advertising daily. This is ego run amok. Nobody likes hearing they could have done a better job. If pixie was disappointed by what she read about herself on this site, maybe she should have kept it to herself and walked away. I read somewhere that is what defines class.[/QUOTE]

Seriously, why does everybody keep writing things like "be safe" and "use your head" only to keep seeing questions like this?

If you can't detect an obvious internet scam, how will you ever recognize a sting or some other unsafe setup?

To be fair, I get the Joe was being safe by asking here, but a little common sense will go a long way in this hobby. Of course people are nervous when there are those among us who walk blindly into situations.

I have seen several of these ads over the past month and have never seen them mentioned once on here so I figured what the hell, just ask one of the vetrans on here what they know about that. Sorry that I got your underoos in a such a bind. Again, get over yourself. Way too sensitive.

A request for our credit card number is a scam. What legitimate reason is there for one of these ladies to ever need our credit card number? The ladies say to prove we are not LE and to prove we are who we say we are. How is having a credit card proof we are not LE? Or proof we are who we say we are? Why do we have to prove we are who we say we are? Is the lady proving she is who she says she is?

She will also ask for the 3-digit security code on the back side. And the last 4 of your social security number, too.

The whole point of these sites is to get our credit card to scam us.

Never give out a credit card number to any “business” that does not have a known, verifiable and established place of business. Do these internet sites ever have verifiable places of business? Isn’t that especially true in the sex trade?

She will make more money with your credit card number than she ever could doing you.

She will max your card out using a series of low level charges. Low level charges don’t trigger the bells and whistles at your credit card company.

And the girl will have access to the personal information you submitted when applying for the card.

And when your card has been shut down, she can sell your credit card information to a company that will contact you about repairing your credit for $499.

But there is an upside. No way can this be an LE sting. It is not a crime to give a good credit card number to a hooker over the internet.

The other upside is improving your FICO rating due to good payment history to Ride Me Hard And Deep LLC showing up on your next credit report.

I just checked the Courier-Journal Crime reports Data Center web-page, and it seems that back on February 11th and 12th, LEO arrested a couple "johns" using undercover ladies posting on CL and BP.

Be careful![/QUOTE]True! This was the story on WHAS News during the farm show that we were talking about on here a few weeks back. You can still find the link on WHAS website that tells what they did. I think it is just called, "Prostitution" and during the dates mentioned in Velvet's post. They used undercover cops posing as prostitutes and aslo busted real escorts, their drivers and a couple of johns all in the mix. The LE weren't playin' around they they were wanting some busts for an example and they got it.

What is the deal with all the ladies on CL and BP with 509 area code #s? There are 3 or 4 of them. 509 is Washington State.
