Talk about dead.
Gone are the days of pretty Pinay ladies strutting around giving you seductive glances when Myra Mama was in charge. Gone are the theme nights and crazy birthday parties for the girls. Gone are the loud music and table dancing if the girls are drunk enough.
Now the busy part will of the place is the outdoor windows for the chicken that they sell.
Yup same experience as Blackbriar re Cleopatra. Tripped in their just to see what's up and crickets except for 2 gals working. Thin white gal and chubby fil gal mostly smoking outside. Spoke to mama who said younger Korean guy who operates the fried chicken joint owns the bar and uses it as the base for his kfc (Korean fried chicken) business. Had 2 beers and left. Saw a few homeless loitering outside so be careful. Lilac. After placing this place on my no fly list I had a nice time there this weekend. All 3 mamas working and looking busy. Recognized 4 decent looking ladies on the floor. Lots of karaoke going on, no open seat at the bar and many booths also full. Spotted a tall thin bartender in lower cut black dress w / nice rack. Will def need to follow up on that one. Enjoy your Sunday and Stay Safe.

My buddy knows the bartenders. Best to sit at the bar and buy the bartender a drink and small talk. If you see an interesting girl, just ask the bartender that you'd like to sit with that girl. There's regular girls there (the older ones) but the mama seems to have a couple of younger attractive girls from Korea for a few weeks at a time. But once they're gone, they're gone.
It's been a few years since I went to a location that had the Korean bar scene that you do and was wondering how much you normally spend on the company of the ladies when you go out?

TooolDnTooFat.[/QUOTE]Well it kind of depends upon how hard you like play. Generally there is safety in numbers (wingman / men) unless one of your posse doesn't follow the memo. For starters I would stick to the $20 nekohanas until I get a good vibe then maybe up to the $40 green bottles. I don't like buying shots cause many times it's either tea or watered down liquor. Also don't like paying them to waste bubbly. I try to watch the bartender open the brown / green bottle as to assure myself that it's real beer that they're drinking. As I go through an established rotation of watering holes I like to have access to $$$ to $$ cash preferably in 20's and maybe a Benjamin or 2 but I've carried more. Another thing, if its a place that you're new at it may be best not use your plastic unless you want to start a feeding frenzy or have your # stolen. Once you've established yourself there it may be safe to do so. But truthfully if I like fck I don't waste my time and money and just go AMP. Stay Safe this weekend and enjoy.

Stopped by Friday night and it was busy during the World Series game but emptied out after game over. Lilac and Honu have been good as can be re masking mandate since they were both previously busted for it. Green T has remained the worst in that regard. Stay Safe.

AFAIK there are Mongol, Viet and Korean ladies there. I've not aware of any Japanese or even Chinese ladies. Maybe some new staff / floor ladies? There were 2 Japanese ladies working at Lilac but they are no longer. Interestingly you can sometimes find a Korean BG that speaks Japanese fluently. Some of them have worked or also work retail jobs in Waikiki & Ala Moana SC. Stay Safe.

Wonder if this will work at Splash. Checked it out for the 1st time recently. Normal sign your info on the paper, vac check, temp check. The bartenders at the back bar were the hottest girls in there. Think one was the mama, at least that's what I heard a few of the waiters call her.
Carried money and all but I think the problem is that we are not regulars so nobody gave us the time of day. Even offered to buy dtinks for one of the bartenders because she was sitting with a group of guys drinking when we first got there but she just blew us off. Then when a regular that she obviously knew came in, she went to drink with him. It was a disappointing and uneventful night. Ended up just drinking and then left a big tip for another bartender because she gave us really good service. Was always right there to check on our drinks, gave us snacks, and didn't just ignore us like the others.
So am I right? Is it because we were new faces that mostly all the girls paid no attention to us?

Received good service / attention, decent pupu. Usually buy at least 1 neko and leave enough to cover food. Dropped in late / prime time with a wingman and bar full so end up on booth. Pretty much ignored so called out one of the old ladies who clears the tables. Ended up having a few brews w / o drawing any attention from the floor ladies. There seemed to be a lot of regulars there so unless she is w / o customer they won't attempt to establish a new host parasite relationship. I may be wrong but sometimes your dress / appearance will influence the amount & nature of attention you draw. I've been into the same KB dressed / groomed differently and the service from the same staff was totally different, until they blew my cover. The ladies try to balance their need to obtain new hosts but no lose the current ones. If there is conflict they will usually go with their steady unless he's not buying. Stay Safe.

If you are a regular and they know you, they will be more than happy to spend time with you. However, if you are new to the bar, it will be a YMMV situation until they get use to seeing you there. I usually go to Splash often so I get pretty good service since the bartenders know me and know that I will take care of then with several drinks. The one thing I have noticed at most bars is that if you are a cheapskate, word gets around pretty fast about how cheap you are. These girls are working to earn a living so buying them a drink or two for their company is good for customer relations. Just my opinion.

TooolDnTooFat.[/QUOTE]It depends on what you are after. If you are wanting a girl to go home with you then that has a price bigger than buying a girl one or two drinks. If you are just wanting company in the bar then one or two drinks will go a long way for that especially when it is slow for them.
Don't expect much if she is busy with other customers, if you want that girl then you will be better off by ask her for an appointment with her for another time when she is working. The popular ones give out time slots in advance and you will be expected to keep her filled with drinks for the time you are with her. It doesn't matter to me what she drinks it is just the cost per hour of her time.
Choose wisely since you will be become the property of the first girl you buy drinks for in that bar. Bar customers don't have to follow that rule but they also don't have as big of chance for the girls to go to bed with them and will be considered an easy target.
These girls generally don't go home with every guy they meet in the bar. You will have to earn that by talking a good story and buying the right number of drinks. Generally for me, it is on the repeat visits that when the girls go home with me. I am not young or handsome but I do know how to follow the bar girl rules to have them to go to bed with me.

Stay Safe.[/QUOTE]You are so on point with your observations MakaKiller. Remember these girls are also into the high fashion brand names and accessories. We are just another accessory for them to use and the greater perceived value they see us, the better for us. They like to be with the "whales" than to be with the "minnows" that come into the bar. That gives the girl better status with the other girls in the bar.
It is nice sometimes to keep a low profile and not be harassed by some of these bar girls looking for my money.
