I decided to cut my losses and head home. I was out on the street when not one but two squads turned their lights on to stop me. Asked why I was in the lot, and why I came backed. Threatened me with loitering (not a big deal, but would have to explain why I was in OC in a motel lot to the Frau) and keep up the intimidation. Finally let me go after a lecture about pimps and the dangers. They had my drivers license and threated to send a ticket for soliciting to my home. I certainly could fight it and probably win, but there is still the embarrassment and explanations.

Asked why I was there. I said I was spending the night (it was a hotel) I forgot the Packers were playing at home, or I would've said that I was in for the game. Supposedly lots of dealers come up from Chitown. I didn't fit the rest of the profile.
Moral of the story is to have a story to tell if LE hassles you: The fishing, don't help them out! Lots of people have affairs. Worst case rent a room; cheaper than a ticket.

Apart from that, there are dual SIM phones so you can have 2 SIM cards (2 numbers / 2 accounts) in one phone at once. Otherwise maybe a single SIM phone and switch the SIM card when you are out having adventures. Your main phone won't be available if you swap out the SIM though.
Google Voice actually might work for you. It gives you a free second number forwarded to your main phone which you can turn off and on by checking a check box on the web site. All calls and texts are forwarded to your phone (when it's set to active) and back without your real number being exposed. You can also manage and reply to calls and texts on the web site.
