I ususally don't get a room, but I have and would again, I have been in the situation you described and instead of just seeing the girl anyway because I had already spent money on the room, I looked at it as I have the room for the night so I can call someone else. As long as you didn't have to go to the lobby to let them in or get a call to allow them up it's not like the hotel / motel will know what room the girl went to so if you have another one come over no biggie (even better if its a place where you can access the rooms from outside and don't have to go through a lobby)
