Great report Super. You handled the situation well and did the right thing. I met Jenn early on and bought the "tuition" story because she was fresh and bright and so unlike the usual Ave girl. I don't know. It was also clear to me that this was "pimp-taught" acting for a SW to make more money. She was actually a good actress if she could have stuck with one story and made it believable. As soon as she started throwing me the role change-ups she was dead in the water.

My usual approach is not to mention price until she does. That works for the vast majority of the time, especially when I am much more than fair on compensation. This one time that it was a little rocky won't encourage me to reinvent the wheel on my approach, but it does show that there can very occasionally be a downside.

I am continually amazed at the hot way most of the SWs in Southern CA dress as compared to the usual "blend-in-jeans-and-sneakers" approach of the SWs in Philly. I think I understand the Philly issues; they don't want to stand out too much and be evident to LE. However, that's not very relevant when you actually think about it. Any rookie patrolman on his first day on the K would be able to pick out every SW, and every hot SW corner, after one shift. So, I really think the smarter SWs would use the better marketing approach of Southern CA, and dress in sexy outfits, short skirts, heels, whatever. It's not like LE doesn't already know who they are based on where they are and their street behaviors. Maybe it's a cultural thing, or that CA is so glitzy and influenced by "Hollywood," or just the fact that CA LE have bigger fish to fry, or maybe most of the strolls aren't directly drug-related like on the K. Whatever the reasons for the differences, it remains a head-scratcher to me, because there are some girls on the Ave who dress sexy and in a dress or short skirt, and they seem to get picked up a lot faster than others, all other things being equal. It would seem to me basic SW 101 to have some curb appeal.

Pimps seem to screw things up for us with very few exceptions. They are middle men who contribute nothing of value, add costs and place upward pressure on pricing.

I think you are right about the "ASS" syndrome. Some girls read their press clippings in here and believe they can coast, rest on their laurels, and provide lesser services for higher prices. While I haven't experienced this personally, there have been some recent reports that the "ASS" syndrome seems to be affecting Aundrea and Erin. Alexus, Aundrea and Erin work for the same pimp.
