The girls were never arrested. Many did get deported and many were used to testify, but the sting was mainly focused on the owners, managers, and middlemen.

I beg to differ! Absolutely no disrespect whatsoever.

However there were girls arrested some others did agreed to testify at which point were released within a week after the initial problem under supervision via regular lawyer interviews. Granted temporary status in the state's.

Those who refuse to testify were charged and deported one of which even die in a holding cell she was a cook mama who's health condition was poor. One was married to an American citizen and chose to go back to Korea.

There was approximately 30 to 40 some girls from Pennsylvania, CT, Washington D.C. and New York who would not testify held in the cells from New York across the country to Albuquerque NM.

Some of which I know for a fact set in a holding cells almost nine months too one year before getting to go home. Some even begged to pay for their own flights just to get the hell out of their and they were denied.

I would have to say this is being arrested. I personally sent canteen money for phonecards and mailed Korea books to many of them.

As stated the main focus was on the owners, managers, and middlemen.

RM & AJ, you may actually both be correct. The lucky ones and the ladies with lawyers may have gotten off quickly, but some were arrested, and others simply held without charges...for long, agonizing weeks and months on end...only to be deported with nothing but the clothes on their back.

I think some of us were charged with something in all this mess too. Is that true? Does anyone know if any of the customers of these places were busted, and if so, what the outcome is?

She has yet to be sentenced.

Those who testified are having a difficult time finding work. I know of one who is working in the west coast.

As the market gets more compressed, it's as important as ever to report bad as well as good. So, doing my duty...even thought they will be brief:

Then she says (despite giving standard fs tip for full hour up front) okay, you're happy, so give me more! Pulls down her bikini top and says put something in both sides.
