I remember going to Ashley's and saigon palace but heard they sold that parcel to property developers they are making new condos there. Haven't been there in awhile.

The Mama used to run Pink Samurai where Christines is back 20 years ago. Her and her sister run the place. They also ran California Girls 10 years ago. Parking is tight though.

Aqua was shut down tonight for 24 hours for violating liquor commission rules. Not sure exactly what rules were broken but they cannot reopen until tomorrow night at 9 pm. Bummer for an already slow and empty bar.

With the limited amount of kbg girls working because of Covid, which popular girls are working and where. I know the popular Filipino girl Lei is at Lucky Honu. Seen her there last night.

She actually half-Thai half-Pinay. Really dark, almost Popolo complexion. Pretty, I think, but not aging well IMHO. She looks 10 years older than she looked 5 years ago to me. She in her early 40's, I'd say. Met her at Aqua (FKA By Me?) Then Five-O, then Kalihi Station and Spotlite (not sure which order) and now at Lucky Honu 2 nights a week. Got day job as an aesthetician. I never got past, say, second base in the booth but that was 4 or 5 years ago. Could not convince her to go to private room. I always suspected she had a boyfriend or FWB from the outside (ie not bar regular).

I know bars can now stay open till midnight, but I noticed that some are closing before the 11:45 pm curfew. From what I heard is that those that close earlier aren't that busy after 10 pm and like to go home to get more rest. I wonder what will eventually happen when they can stay open till 2 am? Is closing early going to be the norm going forward?

So if they close 2 or there hours early and everyone there is supposed to get $20 an hour they can easily save hundreds on overhead cost by shutting down instead of wasting money hoping a big sale will walk in at 12:30 or 1 am.
