Under the city's Tier 1 designation restaurants can operate in a limited capacity, against the recommendations of the state DOH. Waiting for Tier 4 or vaccine going be one business death sentence so got to do or at least try to start operations.
But you know going get out-of-hand at most KB / restaurants as the LVB / KBG revolving door begins to spin again (the KBGs going spin the LVBs, not the other way around). Anyway, the second wave or spike never happen yet so I leaving my proud chicken okole home until things get mo bettah. Waiting little longer to avoid KB / LVB crowds and desperados not going clucking hurt moi.
Yup Starlite open as just before the 2nd shutdown. Was there Sunday for NFL. I'd say good business. 5-6 at bar and 5 or 6 booths occupied. Skinny Kay daytime bartender cleaning up! She must be getting 8-10 drinks per hour. Only Arisu and Soomi open now AFAIK. Not counting non-KB Secret, Arena808, and Happy Nights. Kris Mama and Kay killin' it on the risk / reward ratio right now. Lots of thirsty older patrons willing to risk it to drink. My math says only 10% of KBs open. But more than 10% of patrons willing to risk to drink.
GG.
Tipsy Pig 2 is open as well.
Since unemployed people will be getting $500 gift cards to spend at restaurants will this apply to the KB's since they are technically operating as restaurants atm? If applicable, I see a nice increase in customers for the small percentage of KB's that are chancing it as restaurants.

Christine mama and many bar customers have died. Christine was well liked and took care of her girls. The loans that she gave to her girls probably amounted to around $100 k. I wonder if the girls are going to pay their loans back. Last I heard, Christine's husband was in the hospital with COVID, but some time has passed and I don't know how he is doing. The Korean community on Oahu is small and everybody knows everyone else's business.
I shouldn't be the only guy that is still seeing KBGs outside of the bar. I have told my girls not to expect to see me in a Korean bar for at least 6 months or more. I guess my relationship with them has changed into a sugar daddy / sugar baby relationship which is fine with me. Because of the KBGs pride we call it friends with benefits. They think of themselves as being in a higher class way above the AMP / prostitute girls. I guess the KBGs can still choose who they will open their legs for.
Now is a very good time to find out where you stand with them. You should call the ones that you have their phone numbers and ask them if they want to move into a closer relationship. Many but not all are hungry now. I have enough to satisfy me.

Avoid the crowd, play your game, know your limits, take your time. Wish them all the best and "until we meet again. " LOL.

I can imagine that patrons may be cruising a bunch of bars in an evening and spreading their vapors. And yes, the Mamas and select hostess do briefly join their customers at the booths. Got to go in treating EVERYBODY like they're infected. But you right, Mits. Not going to take much for an explosion of cases to come from the KB restaurant community.
Heavier Kay at Starlite had the discipline to keep her mask on. But her hands are everywhere! Cash. Bottles and glasses. Food plates. Penises. . .
GG.

Going be good to see everybody when it's safe.

.
Christine plus a few of her employees went down. RIP. No reporting in the local news b / c hush hush. No body want to admit being at bar during shut down.
As per their social media, they will be opening on the 15th in restaurant mode. Yay.
Much smaller cozy bar. Get Yuna Mama and Moon Mama. Anne and KC show up in the late afternoon. Bar counter is closed, though. Only can sit in booths.
GG.

Just finished drinking and eating at Arisu, Starlite, Five-0, Lucky Honu and Eclipse.
Thank you Uber.
