There are a few bars open in kaliha. Drove to town and none are opened.

Made the rounds to check it all out and for the most part it was business as usual. Hopefully they remain open however I have a feeling that someone will blow the whistle on them soon. It is my understanding that there is a distinct difference with the restaurant license and insurances with a bar and restaurant. Somehow the bars think they deserve to stay open for business. I for one hope they remain open, just for survival sake alone.

So one of the hostesses at Splash said all the girls that work behind the bar are 40+? Not that it matters, most still look good. Anyone know Kate / Katie?
Chinese: late 20's is rare item. Early 30's are babies.
Korean: early 30's is rare. Late 30's-early 40's are babies.
Japanese: is there any real Japanese woman but siho?
Thai, Philippinas: early 40's are rare. Mid 40's are babies.
Isn't there a Japanese bar girl here that's kinda popular named Tomoko?
Get young Thai and Pinay bar girls, they were at the former Thai Angels. Now you'll find the Thai's at T. A. Station or Charm 3. The Pinays are at Cleopatra.

As we can not find real Japanese working girls in America (they earn more in japan, so no need to jump to America as post ww2 Japanese women had to give service to foreign men), young pretty Koreans had better do it in Korea. Honestly most k women in America are not-well sold items in Korea.
Yes most juicy girls are old.
Younger generation are not that into strip club, buy me drink bars as their parents or grandparents did. And gen z go for internet matching. Even in western Europe, Local new hotties without visa issue don't like traditional brothels.
I think old styled AMP and huge chain of gentlemen's clubs have been in declining hills for years. Coronavirus just smashed the last nail on the coffins earlier than expected.
This job will never disappear but in different supply chain system. Uber hit taxis, ebooks killed paper magazines, but we still have more driving and reading service, just like that.

I already noticed that the younger generation Koreans (usually 35 yo and under) don't want to be associated with the older generations night lifle scene (Kbg, AMP, etc). The peak was maybe late 2000's, early 2010's (I'm talking about the scene here in Hawaii, not mainland or Korea) As for the Japanese, I agree, they never tried to make a stake in that industry outside of Japan, where that industry flourishes. I mean besides anime / manga, cars, video games, etc, what do most people think about Japan? JAV, hostess bars, and soaplands. I hope Japan never becomes like Thailand and the Philippines where expats go there for mostly you know what. I noticed most of the younger girls in Hawaii (usually Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipinos and Thais) are using the independent route, "legit" MT places or hidden AMP like Hunnewell and Pac Heights houses.
Sidenote: Did you see that YT channel Asian Boss had an interview with Japan's top hostess? If I remember correctly she makes in excess of $40-50 k a month and really good months she can make $70-100 k a month. No wonder so many get into the industry over there, I know she's like the 1% that will make that kind of money but that won't stop the others from trying.

I wouldn't doubt though if she was omitting the smaller bar as they are technically under different management.

I think her name was Bonnie if I recall correctly. She mentioned mamasan kept anyone over 40 behind the bar and under 40 on the floor. Regardless of age, most of them still look good, I wouldn't want a serious relationship with any of them (due to them only going after money) but still nice to look at and talk to.
