I just heard that Craigslist has shut down the Personals section for good. I'm just coming out of the shadows to say how much it sucks that CL took down the personals. Yeah, the pros and wannabes will find another outlet, possibly on CL itself, for selling their services. But I don't know if something is going to step up and serve as a place for us to find free sex with the same freedom. All the modern dating sites / apps just don't really do the same thing. CL personals were pretty unique. It was like the wild west of personal sites: pretty much anything goes, it was self-policing, and your success was based on a weird combination of effort and luck.
