This is a very good report of a fun, sexy first trip. Life cannot get easier and more fun than this.

A couple guys do car pool from Tustin, once or twice a week. We drive across, only takes about 10 minutes from the border to HK's free VIP valet parking, It' svery quick, effortless, safer, not to mention far cheaper than parking in the US side. It takes only about 1. 5 hours to get from OC to HK's door. We spend a few hours partying and have sex witha few bar girls and street girls, go home at midnight, arriving back about 1:30 AM.

The $21 lap dance only lasts 3 songs in the tiny private cubicle, not worth it. The $9 ficha drink to bar girls will last as long as the girls want, usually 15 to 20 min of full-contact lap dance. There is no point whatsoever to the 5-minute private lap dances, nothing more will happen than from a lady drink, and you have to get up and go somewhere else and pay twice as much. I did not try the 30-minute VIP room experience for $50, and I suspect there's foreplay stuff involved. . . Maybe someone else knows.

5) Got suckered into buying a food item for a girl at the HK. Do not do this unless you are able to converse with her (my spanish is terrible) because by the time it arrives you either already want to be headed to the room, or you want her to leave. I found one girl that I bought two drinks for, because her English was good and we were mid conversation, but other than that it was one drink, catch and release, unless I planned to take her upstairs.

6) I went into the Bar Gold behind the HK because I was out for a stroll and the barker made a good pitch. It's dingy as fuck, and the girls seem to be either barely legal and kind of GND, or 30's and skanky, with nothing in between. I almost hooked up with a cute girl that was maybe 20, but the management tried to upsell me on the room and amount of time in a really pushy way and I bailed. She seemed as put off as I was, since they killed her sale. Would not recommend.

7) I also tried Adelitas at one point, and I liked the more reserved pace, but I have a sour memory because I gave in to the little head and paid extra for BBBJ from a girl I met there. Are you required to buy certain amount of drinks while in the club? I dnt drink alcohol so would it be a violation NOT to buy any? Some clubs here have a 3 drinks minimum and what not or private dances require certain drinks purchased for the lap dancers.

Anymore info is appreciated but I can probably figure it out when I am there. Someday!

Most Tijuana bars only serve local brands, Tecate, Dos Equis ect. Which are pretty bland and tasteless.

HK has all sorts of premium brands. They sell a $7 Heineken cover at the door but you can exchange it at the main bar Kowloon for any drinks, including tequila, Whiskey, Cognac, Vodka shots, mixed drinks, fruit juices ect.

After the first cover beer, at the bar local beers are $4, premium beers are $5. I prefer Bohemia, a tasty full-body Mexican beer, probbaly the best. Modelo is good too. Corona is too thin and sour for my taste. Anything you want, ask the meseros for details and make them work for their tips.

Even the ones that do have a minimum will serve non-alcoholic drinks, so you're good. The length of your "lap dance" from a lady drink is based on how fast she drinks it. So, you can gauge your level of rapport by how fast or slow she is drinking.

Honestly, I HIGHLY recommend paying cash for anything you do there, unless you're making a hotel reservation online. I personally get what cash I need before I cross the border, and that's my limit for the trip. I've never stayed at Ticuan, so I can't say anything about it. During the week, I would assume you should be able to get a room okay at either place especially this time of year since this is the "slow season" for them. Friday or Saturday night at HK might be a little more questionable, even more so if it's a holiday weekend. If either place is booked, there's the Hotel Rizo across the street from HK's north entrances. It's not as fancy as HK is, but it's a decent place.

It's really not as bad as people make it out to be, as long as you're not stupid. It's no worse than walking around some sketchy areas in Downtown LA. I personally only stick to the larger clubs. HK and Adelita sometimes have a door fee you need to pay to get in, which includes the price of 1 drink. I've never been in a place that had a 3 drink minimum.
