Forum Newbies Being Sensitive
I think, once again, we have Senior Members over estimating their value at the expense of Lowly Members. [...]
I haven't counted my posts. I haven't counted how many girls I've posted about. But I'd bet I've seen more girls and paid more money than ALOT of our self-aggrandizing Senior Members. Just because I've been at it a long time.
So, here it is: this can be simple. See a girl. Post your experience. Ask questions. Help your brothers out.
But keep your bullsh*t to yourself; you're the only one interested in it.

With all due respect (and I do respect you, SCEO, as I note below), all the experience in the world is of absolutely no value on this forum unless you've posted about it. The way people get respected around here is not by sheer number of posts (heaven knows there are some worthless assholes on this forum with a boatload of posts) but by posting information that turns out to be reliable (based on others' shared experiences).
I don't pretend to speak for other Senior Members around here. But personally, if most all of your posts are competent reviews of a provider, or confirmations of/disagreements with another review based on your own experiences, I'm going to listen to and respect you even if you have only five posts.
I think the problem folks had with the poster you mentioned is that none of his posts were reflections of his own experiences. Now, I haven't gone back to review the posts so I don't know if that's true. It IS, however, a valid point.
I also, FWIW, agree with the safety issue -- if you have only a few posts and you aren't posting about your own experiences you certainly might be Uncle Leo. And he doesn't get a whole lot of respect -- at least on this forum.
You do have a point or two...
....all the experience in the world is of absolutely no value on this forum unless you've posted about it.
I agree, GD2, but let's say that PM's between Forum members are also important. I have tried to post enough real data publicly to gain (a small amount of) credibility and, at the same time, encourage PM's for the exchange of further info. I've replied to lots of PM inquiries and anyone who's ever PM'd me knows I'm cautious at first, but do my best to be helpful. I've met some cool folks across the country that way.
I also, FWIW, agree with the safety issue. If you have only a few posts and you aren't posting about your own experiences you certainly might be Uncle Leo.
Again, I agree entirely. We only help the Forum if we first protect the Forum. However, too many members believe this means they don't have to help out their more lowly brethren at all. I want to believe that every guy (or girl) here is either LEO or my Hobby Buddy. Once you show me not not the former, I welcome you as the latter!
I think it'd be great if the Forum read like an encyclopedia; each post would list Escort Name, What Happened, What I Liked, What I Didn't Like, What I Paid.
. And not much more.
(OK, friendly banter between buddies, photo swapping, etc. Is cool too.)
