It was slow and a couple of the girls were sitting outside. Before we entered, I said to my friend: "So what? Are you ready to get mobbed?" Hehe. But, that wasn't the case.
I no mind buying a BG a drink but, if its blatant or they beg for it, its a turnoff because it shows desperation. It makes them appear unattractive when they blatantly hustle. Enter into a KB and already getting bombed by patriot missiles with Buy Me Drinkie labeled on them. Some of them are even Stealth bombers that appear out of nowhere and just see them sitting down next to me. I can see why they do that though. Another BG may approach you if the other one don't act right away. Plus, they know upfront that your not with any BG. If she sees you at the booth, she's going to think you already have a BG and therefore don't want to impose.
Just an observation of 2 incidents this past week going through downtown of squad cars plus marked vans converging on street sections. I usually see the typical 2-3 squad cars for either a fender bender or just a pull over but was surprised to see this parade of blue sirens and lights blazing. I assumed a bust of some sort / sting since there probably was around 6+ cars in a matter of minutes. Did not see anything related in the news about downtown.

Are those coffee and juice trucks with daisy dukes bikinis on top still going? The one on Kapiolani Blvd. by the car wash and steak takeout truck seems idle. There was also another one on Kapiolani Blvd. across from Papa John's that lasted a minute.

Unfortunately, the girls seem more covered up these days.

They would drink much slower too. Lots of times you would literally see a girl passed out on the floor. If you check up on her, the coworkers will just handle her. They use all the tricks, tip for the waiter, kitchen mama, and the bartenders. They will even take your loose change if you let them.

We had fun at the booth with them but, eventually my friend ran out of 20s and told BeBe that he doesn't have any more $ to buy her more drinks. She didn't believe what he said so, she grabbed his wallet, looked in his wallet and found that what he said, was true. He only had a couple of dollar bills in his wallet. Not enough to buy a LD. So, BeBe decided to take all the dollar bills in his wallet. He had like 4 to 7 one dollar bills in his wallet. Talk about literally emptying the wallet.

That quantity of singles will buy her some time playing games, go towards cigarettes, sing karaoke, or just empty the guy's wallet for the sake of emptying it to be spiteful. Unless, there happens to be 15 bucks left; some girls will take it and leave, some will get a drink and maybe stay a bit longer. Either way, they shouldn't be moping around the bar wondering why it's so slow.
