However, we're still going to have our fair share of confirmations 15 mins before a scheduled appt, followed by a no answer once we get there. Aggravating to say the least, but I guess it's part of the hobby.

FZ I agree with you 100% It is the same way for a reputable provider. Because I do background checks I do most of my communication over emails, the day of the appt I request a confirmation email or I will email them. If I do not get a response, I consider it a no go. It really sucks that both providers and clients ruin it for each other. I do understand that stuff happens. I am not the type that gets mad when someone calls / emails me an hour prior to the appt to cancel because at least they took the time to contact me. But it just burns me up when someone is a No Call / No Show. A lot of men don't understand that some providers do not have revolving doors (such as myself). I am a low volume provider so if someone cancels that day, its a big cut from what I planned on. But I do know it happens. I have had to cancel before myself as well. I always confirm the day of the appt and if no response, I move on. Things happen for a reason. Stay safe but hobby hard! Kisses to you, Kelly.
