A suspect was fatally shot Thursday during an apparent police operation at the Century Center building on Kalakaua Avenue.

The incident happened about 6 pm.

Sources confirmed the suspect was fatally shot in the incident, and that no officers were injured.

The suspect was transferred to a hospital and pronounced dead.
