AAbout 2 years ago I was browsing Craigslist and found this girl named Dawn who did massages. I think her name was Dawn anyway. I saw her every week for about a month but then lost her number. She was reviewed here in the past. She is 30-35 at the most."had" blond hair, now closer to brown.

Anybody have any intel on the LEO pickup trucks seen cruising our hood?
They make me nervous because of the camera thing on top.
I'm aware that LEO in Dayton have scanner / camera things mounted on the trunk lids of their cruisers that automatically scan license plates and run them for warrants in the background as they drive around. Every once in a while you see one stopped in a parking lot waiting for the hapless owner of a car with bench warrants to return to the vehicle, or see one roll the berries on a car beside (not in front of) them at a stop light.
Are these pickup truck cameras in play or am I wearing my tin foil hat again?
An SW I mentioned this to told me something about the truck drivers being "volunteers"?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Also what is the opinion of the forum on how to disseminate intelligence about LEO? We all know this site is monitored, so do we have to be concerned about letting out what we know or suspect about our adversary? Any ground rules on that for a Noob?
What is the conventional wisdom on using your name? Specifically when talking to escorts and / or SW's?
I haven't previously contacted a BP provider or other escort, but plan to. While exciting, I'm finding the SW scene too dangerous and low rent for my tastes. I'm guessing some verifications and referrals might be part of my future with regards to providers
With most SW's maybe I want to use my real 1st name because lying isn't really in my nature and doesn't feel natural. While I can certainly be a hard ass, I'm generally nice and honest and I'm hoping that they are the same. However, I acknowledge that a moderately distinctive first name and other piece of information such as a accurate neighborhood or town could lead someone to anyone, prepaid phone or not.
To that point how much is even appropriate to discuss here in the open?

If you follow these simple rules LEO becomes almost irrelevant.
The use of a burn phone is two fold (1) privacy, some of your acquaintances will blow your phone up without regard to your life and (2) protection, if you do get busted by LEO and used your rather expensive personal phone. It is now in their possession as a criminal tool. Lastly the likleyhood that LE is going to get involved with tracking you through a phone number is almost zero, they simply do not have the resources to commit to a misdemeanor charge. Imagine how many warrants they would have to get. Our hobby is not a federal offense and stings are not that complicated in structure.
With respect to posting about LEO information, there is no such thing as too much information. The more they change the game the more expensive it will become for them to play. The camera game albeit relatively new is also silly, stop into a convenience store and get a lottery ticket, a fast food joint and get something to eat. Keep the receipts they will show you had a reason to be there. Lastly if you have wants or warrants mongering is probably the least of your concerns.

It's a searchlight, just like on top of DP&L / Vectren / Tie Warner Cable trucks. The license plate scanners are mounted to the trunk of the cruisers. Every guy I saw driving the pickup was in uniform, which they don't give to volunteers, community policing, etc.

Thanks to this Dayton board and everyone who posts to it. Not to brag but as a testament to everyone on here, in the short time I've been a member, I now have over 50 contacts of ladies ready, willing and able to help me in my time of need. True, some have flaked out, some have retired and others have just flat out disappeared but for the most part they are good for a show and true to their calling.

As considered a newbie but but been a member approx 2 yrs and been in the hobby off and on 45 years I read the posts etc and the usual sites. If you've read any posts I'm overly cautious. But. If your interests take you to northern Ky ensure you review the posts in the Cinci board as it's reported hot as hell. There's been info both was but when a well known provider with fellow providers states she pulled out from her usual locations and is now accross the river due to the heat I'd tend to take note. States she's informed LE is cruising / staking out motels etc and looking for Ohio / Ind license plates as well as local plates. Just an FYI for those who may be new (er) and think to research before you leap and be a well informed individual.
