Long time monger from the Chicago area will be in Tampa in about three weeks. Have been studying the boards and a few other sources and have narrowed the search down to a couple of places I would like to check out.
Here are my limitations.
Time is limited and irregular so I cannot make reservations, a walk in is a must.
Cash can be a problem, but oddly enough credit cards aren't.
Travel distance is limited due to the time problem so no going over to St Pete's area.
From looking at this and other sites it looks like Yoshiko is a good but pricey choice. Does anyone know if they still do credit cards, at least for the basic service and then a cash tip?
Any other place to recommend that would not give a first timer (to their place that is) to many problems?
