I had a similar experience once in Olympic. Nonetheless, there was an awkward moment I experienced in Rainbow Spa that I wished to report.

At a point in life, I had grown weary of DC AMPs so I tried to expand my boundaries. I found the archive of reports in the old forum and was looking forward to enjoy the new sites of Rainbow. I must have spent an hour looking for that place. It's not difficult for me to figure out why Downtown may have lost some of it's allure. It's difficult to enter and leave that place discreetly, the stairs are nasty and unsavory characters tend to congregate there. With Supra, it's more discreet and there are other businesses in the building, which causes some other concerns, but, to my mind, help mask what's going on. I am tempted to go back and see how things are there.

Hi, I am new to this forum, but have a long history from Redbook in N. Cali. There is lots of good info here, hopefully I can contribute here.

I just got into town and did an inital search from the weekly and came up with 5 AMPs. It has been a long time since I had been to an AMP with table showers, since they really don't have that on the west coast.

Went to the one on G. Street, paid the half hour rate, was escorted to a room, and went through a decent table shower with Satchi. Satchi wasn't really that good looking but serviceable. I was anxious for my second try at am AMP in the area and went to the AMP on K Street. Went at night, not the nicest of areas, but discreet enough at night.

Buzzed the door, and an old Mamasan comes down and tells me they are busy and to come back in 20 minutes. In Cali, that usually means that they don't want you to come back (many AMPs won't see black customers) but I was determined and just walked around the block a few times and came back in twenty minutes.

This time they buzzed me in and took me to a room, so I got undressed and waited and waiited and waited, so after about 20 minutes or more, I got dressed and right when I put my second shoe back on, a cute girl comes in. I told her that I had to go, I didn't have time to stay now, I was really too aggravated to stay at that point anyway. She offered me a coke as a friendly gesture, but I said I would be back on another day and left.

I have been on this board for a while and don't remember seeing any complaints from any of our black members about not getting the attention they wanted at DC AMPs.

That said, one AMP girl was very recently raped at knife-point and robbed by a skinny black guy about 5'6" with a ball cap. This info rapidly made it around the AMP community. So, if you are also skinny and about 5'6", that might explain it. Otherwise, don't worry.

I'm a white guy and have also seemingly been snubbed a few times at AMPs. At one AMP they even forgot about me for an hour and I fell asleep. That lead to the mamasan ingratiating herself to me, and forevermore I got special treatment, the prettiest girls, etc. One visit she poked her head in to chat while I was on the table shower, as my provider was vigorously washing the marriage tackle and then my ass crack. The mamasan and I just had a normal conversation of the [i]long time no see[/i] variety while I kept getting more and more aroused, and until my eyes started to roll up into the back of my head. That is a memory I love to recall.

At another AMP where I'd also been seemingly snubbed, the mamasan made a habit of meeting me outside the table shower to hold my cock in her hands for a few minutes and chat.

My advice is to plow onward and not take it personally. Don't get mad. Turn a negative into a positive by giving them the opportunity to make it up to you. DC AMPs do get overwhelmed with more customers than providers sometimes. Also, IMHO, this area is so ethnically diverse, with some 130+ languages spoken around here, that AMPs can't afford to discriminate, as it would eliminate a large percentage of their potential client base.

That said, if you do in fact find that they've discriminated against you because of the color of your skin, please let me know so we can burn the place to the ground. :) There's an excellent chance other members here will join us, too. If you look back far enough you'll find a major flame war errupted as we ganged up on some bigot over his assholic comments about BSWs.

I do remember seeing some adverts for black-run massage places in the phone book a few years ago. Also, there's a paper called the Afro-American that might have some adverts, but I'm not sure.

Also, the NY Avenue BSW scene is fabulous. I picked up a serious honey there two weeks ago. There have been some recent stings, but are easily avoided if you know LE's MO.
