I had to choose what day to visit Tampa for work so I chose today knowing it might be a bit slower and less guys than on a Friday. I stopped by pussycat lounge first and had a few beers. First time exploring the strip scene in Tampa. I typically frequent the AMPs but had an amazing time up north and wanted to see if I could get something going down here.

I didn't want to be burning unnecessary cash on an excessive amount of lap dances, hopelessly chasing pussy that probably wasn't coming anyway. But I was more than happy to sit front stage, make it rain, and admire the women. Fucking Kim first helped me enjoy the rest of the night (until Ybor). Besides, in my experience weekend nights are the worst time to be chasing extras and the best time to be admiring the beautiful women, the club scene, and the dancing. The best time for extras is when the club is dead and nobody is on the pole.

Extras are possible here but don't hold your breath. In my experience, extras in Pinellas County are usually a sure bet at Atlantis and to a lesser extent, Diamond Dolls.
Second club of the night was '2001 Odyssey' and the place was packed out. I felt the girls (at 2001) were the most attractive of the night, but it is really splitting hairs between (MV, Oz, 2001) when it comes to beauty. I could easily see how someone with different taste may feel differently. Most of the girls at these places range from solid 6's to beautiful 9's. There were a couple girls who looked like 10's from a distance but not quite perfection (at least up close on a Saturday night) at any of these 3 clubs. However, there are plenty of beautiful women who I would pay Eros prices (+600) to sleep with. 2001 Odyssey is a smaller club, with a L shaped stage, and basic chairs set around the stage. Of all the clubs, these chairs were the least comfortable. Younger mongers won't care about this, but older gentlemen may have a better time at MV or Oz. The highlight of this club (2001) was just the sheer ability of these girls. The women really know how to work the poles. Some of these girls were spinning/spiraling like Olympic figure skaters, and really putting on a show for the crowd. A+ dancing at this club. Definitely a solid place for a bachelor party or for any guy who doesn't care about the comfort of the chair and just wants a wild "make it rain" atmosphere of a really fun club. Definitely a good time, but extras are probably not happening here, and if they do, it's probably not happening with one of the beauties.
Next up was Mons Venus which had the highest cover at $22. I don't remember the cover for the previous locations because I simply handed the girl(s) at the front a 20 and tipped the change. The cover (at MV) stuck out to me because the "Jackson" didn't even cover the full amount for entry. Not a big deal for me. But keep this in mind if a couple bucks means a lot to you. As for the club, I don't think it was as impressive as 2001, specifically in terms of the dancing. You're going to get a great show at both (MV and 2001) but the only poles (at MV) are above the stage and are there for the strippers to grab onto. This is obviously helpful for the standing pussy shots but this club needs a real pole. Most girls make good use of the stage (which is an octagon) but no acrobatic feats are occurring here. You will see nice dancing, beautiful pussy, but not the same incredible dancing to be viewed at 2001. The major pros (for MV) are that the chairs around the stage are infinitely more comfortable and they have VIP section that line the walls of both sides of the club. For comparison, 2001 Odyssey had several people waiting for a private booth. It just seemed easier / quicker to get a dance at Mons Venus. However, I need to stress that these aren't great places to get lap dances. The dances are 60 bucks, you get a curtain, and to roam your hands within reason. I only got one lap dance (at MV) from a beautiful, all natural blond with bangs, who was as close to a 10 as there was on this night. I couldn't let myself leave without at least giving her a good feel up. She was awesome and gave a great dance, but there isn't anything else that is going to happen without breaking the bank / take out.
At this point I was starting to get thirsty and headed over to Gold Club for some drinks and to survey the scenery there. This is the largest club of the night but also the least interesting, at least for me. Most of the girls are latina and don't speak much English. "Papi VIP" wasn't what I was after tonight, so I didn't stay long. However, there is a decent selection of women and you can easily (for the right money) get laid / blown here. The dancing / stage very much seems like a chore for these girls. I think this club would do much better if the prime time girls put on a better show on stage. The most beautiful women seemed busy with their regulars. Much more time probably needed to get the full potential of this club. But the prices are significantly higher here than a place like Ybor Strip or Pink Pussycat.
Next up (about 3 am) was Ybor Strip. Very little dancing at this club but plenty of extras to be had. Got lots of dances and some were better than others. The hottest latina in the place (bleach blond with wavy hair) and her Cuban (black hair) friend will each give CBJ / HJ in the booths for the typical "3 for 60" + 10 to the house. They both tried to get 200 but got them both down to 160. I also took a Mexican girl in her 20's by the name of Delilah into the 15 minute room which turned out to be a total waste of money. First club up was Oz (since it was the closest to Kim) and I was generally impressed with the selection of girls. I have been to this club a few other times and it was pretty much business as usual. I didn't stay too long because I wanted to check out the nude clubs across the bay. However, this is a top notch place with alcohol and good looking girls. Extras are possible here but don't hold your breath. In my experience, extras in Pinellas County are usually a sure bet at Atlantis and to a lesser extent, Diamond Dolls.
Second club of the night was '2001 Odyssey' and the place was packed out. I felt the girls (at 2001) were the most attractive of the night, but it is really splitting hairs between (MV, Oz, 2001) when it comes to beauty. I could easily see how someone with different taste may feel differently. Most of the girls at these places range from solid 6's to beautiful 9's. There were a couple girls who looked like 10's from a distance but not quite perfection (at least up close on a Saturday night) at any of these 3 clubs. However, there are plenty of beautiful women who I would pay Eros prices (+600) to sleep with. 2001 Odyssey is a smaller club, with a L shaped stage, and basic chairs set around the stage. Of all the clubs, these chairs were the least comfortable. Younger mongers won't care about this, but older gentlemen may have a better time at MV or Oz. The highlight of this club (2001) was just the sheer ability of these girls. The women really know how to work the poles. Some of these girls were spinning/spiraling like Olympic figure skaters, and really putting on a show for the crowd. A+ dancing at this club. Definitely a solid place for a bachelor party or for any guy who doesn't care about the comfort of the chair and just wants a wild "make it rain" atmosphere of a really fun club. Next up was Mons Venus which had the highest cover at $22. I don't remember the cover for the previous locations because I simply handed the girl(s) at the front a 20 and tipped the change. The cover (at MV) stuck out to me because the "Jackson" didn't even cover the full amount for entry. Not a big deal for me. But keep this in mind if a couple bucks means a lot to you. As for the club, I don't think it was as impressive as 2001, specifically in terms of the dancing. You're going to get a great show at both (MV and 2001) but the only poles (at MV) are above the stage and are there for the strippers to grab onto. This is obviously helpful for the standing pussy shots but this club needs a real pole. Most girls make good use of the stage (which is an octagon) but no acrobatic feats are occurring here. You will see nice dancing, beautiful pussy, but not the same incredible dancing to be viewed at 2001. The major pros (for MV) are that the chairs around the stage are infinitely more comfortable and they have VIP section that line the walls of both sides of the club. For comparison, 2001 Odyssey had several people waiting for a private booth. It just seemed easier / quicker to get a dance at Mons Venus. However, I need to stress that these aren't great places to get lap dances. The dances are 60 bucks, you get a curtain, and to roam your hands within reason. At this point I was starting to get thirsty and headed over to Gold Club for some drinks and to survey the scenery there. This is the largest club of the night but also the least interesting, at least for me. Most of the girls are latina and don't speak much English. Next up (about 3 am) was Ybor Strip. Very little dancing at this club but plenty of extras to be had. Got lots of dances and some were better than others.
