This past Sunday I finally decided to go back to my usual strip clubs. I started out at PortHole, my favorite place to have a few drinks without getting hassle too much by the girls. I got there around 5 pm it was quite busy mix crowd but I didn't see any great quality as far as dancers. Had a couple of beers and a couple of dances from a skinny black tall girls right there by the bar. I didn't recognized any of the dancers. They all look new to me. Mind you I haven't been there in over a year. Cute bartender BTW. I then decided to go to the Booty Trap and I was surprise on how different it looked after the renovation. Had a dream recently. Dipped into a deep slumber. Found myself in a certain pub of the porthole variety. Ordered a ice cold water because it was hotter than a day in the burning cesspools of hell. It was also strange that they didn't have all the premier liquor or regular liquor. My guess is that they have been struggling and definitely not managing the money. I used to have a great time a decade ago there. They had the crazy 3 for 1 dances. It used to be pretty diverse. But switched over to primarily a Caribbean dancers. Liked it both ways except when they started to try to rip people off.

I think it was a shooting in the parking lot a little while back I used to live right behind the strip club they had some issues with dudes shooting and fighting.
It's weird because I'm used to living in high crime areas but I wouldn't expect something right on University and Oakland to have these issues openly.
Pretty sure they shut down due to crime, other businesses most likely wanted them gone.

I realize it's a short lease for alot of businesses these days, all it takes is one incident and the city comes for them quickly. Especially minorities clubs like iguanas, and VC.
