You just have to be persistent and know where to look. Their is this cute BSW I see all the time and I will pass along the digits next time I get up with her. But you would never know by looking at her she is working. I am going to try my best to explain the area I cruise off of rt 1 but once again bear with me I have only been here a short time. Rite past the walmart on rt 1 heading twords the 7/11 if you make that turn their are some apartments. I see a few over their. Also I have seen them at the 7/11 by walmart. Now if you go past walmart about a 1/2 mile on the left hand side once again heading twords mt vernon their are some apts by ALDIS supermarket. Their are a few that live over their but you have to catch them out. That hotel across the street is hit and miss also. Also rite beside the pizza hut and the one with the crispy creme across from it(I believe it is close to N. Kings highway) their is hotel. Their should be a few working out of their at any given time. Hope this helps some one.

You could drive from mt Vernon to old town and not see a living soul walking the street but you will see like 15 patrol cars parked. Don't make much sense to me.

It's called "deterrence." The LE presence is for DUI patrol one minute and SW patrol the next. It's Alexandria. Old Town. Small area with lots of money for "gentrification."

It appears that indeed one can hit or miss out there.
In good ole Bmore, you could even find some action during the day! If you had the good eye sight, here I wonder if during the day one may get lucky.

Once in a blue moon, I noticed a possible SW, but I could not tell. I will say most times during the day and of course early evening, its a heavy Latino populated area, you would see gals standing at Bus stops, but it was hard to tell if they were SW or not, most times you can tell they are not. I am going to check out the area again, but late like by midnight, that area has no action. One reason is there are a few Latino bars in the strip mall there so there is usually a good LE presence out there. Been trying to land a Latino for a while and wondering how to find them!
I went up and down route 1 atleast 4 times btwn 395 and the base last Saturday night and it was completely dead.

Been a long time since I cruised the Rt. 1 corridor and I see its changed immensley. I had many the good time on this strip between the Ft. Hunt Rd and as far south as The Base but that was back in the mid nineties and early 2000's. Right before I moved north was when the Mixing Bowl project began and with that all the SW's left the area. I can remember finding prospects on Huntington near the Metro, on RT 1 & Fairhaven, the KK and McD's, even down by the HD and Denny's. The apartments across from the car dealership and down the street from Capt Pells were good for SW's.
I have returned to the area and found that it is now a barren wasteland. Although built up and highly traveled I saw nothing but LE between 10 and 1 this past Thursday evening and I was going to go last night but decided with the snow there was going to be nothing found out the most of the massage places close due to snow also. I have had good luck in B'More and I guess will continue to go there.

The only problem with DC is that you can't find anything before 1 am, and even that is no guarantee. You need to be in DC like 3am or later to really find anything. For some of us that just doesn't work.

It appears the gals hang out in the clubs, thats what I suspected.
I'll be relocating up to Fairfax later this summer, so I thought I would go ahead and ask for some recommendations for cruising? I'll lurk around the thread more, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask directly.
Saw two homeless ladies holding up signs near the mall and metro. Said they were homeless and looking for work. Anyone try and talk to them?
I was shocked and amazed the other day. I saw 2 attractive (from a distance) ladies standing in the grass of the RRI waving at the traffic. I had no funds but I just had to be sure so I drove by again. I gave them the look and they responded with an encouraging wave. They were certainly working though it seemed odd. 2 attractive ladies openly working a busy highway known for bottom dollar talent? LE? Maybe, but if not then someone got a SCORE.
Guys just an update. NOVA seems very dead. I am thinking of expanding to other nearby areas, but I find it hard to think I can find SA's in areas like Manassas, Potomac or even WoodBridge. And I do not know those areas well enough to check out confidently.
Anytime, I am in Alexandria I just have a feeling that there are SW's out there is one can get to the right places at the right times!
I was driving west on Duke toward 395 (I wasn't even looking since it was 1PM), but saw a LSW. I'm a total newb. Where can I go after I pick one up? I read some posts saying that people park in a private or secluded area. But, surely, people can see what's going on inside of a car in broad daylight parked on a street or in a parking lot.
I read through old reports (most are very very old, not many recent posts here), drove along some frequently mentioned streets.
No SW's in the Little River, Beauregard area. Just LE's driving by.
Also drove on Rt 1. Saw 1 WSW, blonde, skinny, in short denim shorts, by Beacon Hill in the Lowe's parking lot close to the side road, but she was being picked up by another monger. I guess it's pretty dead here around midnight. That might explain why I didn't see any LE's either.
Are all the reports of activity on Rt 1 from 2007 or 2008 because it's no longer active here, or am I just going to the wrong place at the wrong time?
Maybe I'll just forget the street and hit AMP's.
IMHO it`s just dryed up ........ I drive the route every day a few times just the luck of the drive.

Well, I am planning on being in the area with several girlfriends of mine. Where is a good place for us to walk around and meet people? We like to avoid le infested areas, but want to be able to be found by the hobbiests. I would love a little feedback. Me and the ladies would love to come light up your scene! We are all young, healthy, and drug free.

So there is a decent on SW scale white female about 24yro asking for money off PWPKY near Taco Bell on Shopper's way in Woodbridge. She's been there the past few days. She says she's homeless and pregnant and is sporting a bump. Probably 4 months, brown hair, glasses, about 145 lbs. After some small talk, she is traveling and staying at the local camp in the woods. Said she would give bj for .20 and FS for .40
Not sure if I will look further with her. She has a face that reminds me of a guy friend I knew. Kinda weird.

Went to Vienna(upstairs), should have stayed home on this one!(sje told me to come back, I like to get to know u first and all of that jazz), saw lil number who had just got out of the shower on my way out,she was naked, nilce body. I mite try it again, just to see how it goes.
Then rolled over to Tysons, (Well Being Center), saw a sexy lil number (Loto), now this was worth the price of admission), all I can say is that I will request her on my return to this place.

Considering the aggressiveness of local Johnny, you'd be safer looking for different hunting grounds. Maybe with the economy, you might find a few more women out trying to make ends meet, but even they're more likely to head downtown.
My favorite pick up place has become very busy lately, with the new w. M store. Hopefully this will bring out the SWs since they are going to blend in with the shoppers. Ladies we miss you in VA. I'll be looking out to see if the new shop helps

A word of caution: Given that the local LEO know Rt. 1 used to be (and might still be) a stroll, they might also have some decoys in various places (like the new WM) to snare unsuspecting mongers.
