Miko's Spa Ladies Sentenced
The Clark County Clerk of Courts website shows the sentences of the 2 ladies arrested in the bust of Miko's Spa last August. In their business, the ladies went by the names of Candy and Pepsi. It looks like Candy was convicted of promoting prostitution and money laundering. She was sentenced to 8 months of electronic monitoring and 5 years probation. Pepsi was convicted of just the promoting prostitution charge. She was sentenced to 30 days electronic monitoring and 2 years probation. They both had to forfeit the $2215 cash confiscated and any interest in the property.
Hopefully the ladies will be able to get on with their lives after their forced early retirement.
At least they're out of jail.
Agree with others on the board that it's too bad about Miko's. Candy and Pepsi were friendly and accommodating to me, and I enjoyed the time I could spend with them. Now, they've lost their livelihood. However, I have to say I'm pleased to see that Clark County is not wasting even more taxpayer dollars by keeping them in jail. Anyone know if they can travel or move out-of-state while on probation? I know that both Pepsi and Candy had, at different times, traveled out of state to visit family (I think).
